Hoseok couldn't help but laugh at your frustrated expression, clearly entertained by the way you had your hands on your hips.
"No, but seriously," Hoseok cleared his throat, his tone shifting to a more serious note, "are you sure about this?"
"Of course I am." You paced back and forth in the office, "Why?"
"It's just..." Hoseok hesitated, shaking his head as if trying to make sense of it all, "Why would Yoongi even get you involved in this? Not that it's a bad thing, it's just... he never trusts anyone to get into his business. Not even Gayeong."
You paused, a confused expression crossing your face as you shrugged.
"How am I supposed to know?" You finally dropped onto the sofa before leaning your head back to stare up at the ceiling.
Suddenly, a knock on the door made you both turn your heads toward the sound.
"Come in!" Hoseok called out as he rose from his desk.
"Looks like you two were having fun gossiping." Seokjin swung open the door before entering the room, a hand in his pocket. Hoseok chuckled, meeting him halfway for a quick hug.
"Yoongi mentioned you'd be helping with the preparations." Seokjin smiled at you.
"He really had to announce that, didn't he?" You crossed your arms with a faint smirk.
Hoseok couldn't suppress his laughter, giving Seokjin a hearty pat on the back as he joined in on the banter.
"I know this is serious but," Hoseok took a deep breath as he tried to stifle his laughter, "that man's been acting weird lately."
Seokjin scoffed, shaking his head with an incredulous smile. Suddenly, something seemed to click in his mind, causing him to chuckle mischievously. He leaned in closer to Hoseok before whispering something under his breath.
Whatever he said sent Hoseok into another fit of laughter, doubling over as he struggled to contain himself. You stood there, completely baffled by the exchange, feeling like you were being left out of their humorous conversation.

"What? What is it?" Your curiosity piqued but they were both too caught up in their amusement to answer immediately.
"Oh, Mr. Min~," Hoseok said in a teasing manner.
"What is it?!" You started to become impatient.
"Just tell her, Hyung." Hoseok urged Seokjin as he settled back at his desk, eager to witness your reaction.
"So, early this morning, I was walking with Yoongi, and out of nowhere, he stopped in front of this boutique. He just kept staring at this specific red dress so I asked him if he wanted to buy it for Gayeong—"
"Oh come on." You groaned, rolling your eyes the moment he mentioned Gayeong.
"AYE, NOW HANG ON," Seokjin interrupted, raising a hand to stop you, not wanting to lose the momentum of his story. Hoseok covered his mouth, his shoulders shaking as he watched Seokjin in action.
Despite being calm and collected in public, Seokjin always went crazy when it came to spilling tea.
"So after I asked that," Seokjin's voice rose in enthusiasm as he reenacted the scene, "Yoongi just shook his head and said that Gayeong wasn't coming to the gala. So then, I asked him who he wanted to buy it for. Obviously, I already knew the answer."
He paused to catch his breath before continuing. At this point, Hoseok wasn't even laughing at the story anymore. He was laughing at Seokjin.
"Then Yoongi looked right at me and asked, 'Does Miss Seo like red?'"
Now hold on a minute.
"Huh."
Hoseok burst out laughing once again as he pointed at your bewildered expression.
"No way." You shook your head in disbelief.
"Now why would I lie?" Seokjin smirked.
But the room's lighthearted atmosphere was abruptly shattered when the door swung open with a bang. The sudden intrusion caused all three of you to freeze in place, instantly silencing the laughter.
Your lips pressed into a tight line the moment you recognized the intruder.
"At least knock," Hoseok muttered, quickly covering his mouth to stifle a grin as he stared at Yoongi.
"I could hear you from outside." Yoongi took a minute to look at Hoseok and Seokjin in suspicion before glancing at you.
"What did you guys tell her?" His tone dropped.
"What? We didn't tell her anything." Seokjin acted innocent as he slipped his hands back into his pockets, trying to play it cool. Yoongi's eyes narrowed, clearly not convinced.
"Meeting's about to start. Go get ready." Yoongi demanded before slamming the door shut behind him. Hoseok let out a long breath, relieved after almost getting caught spilling secrets.
"Alright the fun's over," Hoseok chuckled, straightening his tie as he made his way to the door, "Come on, Mira."
He held the door open, and with a final glance back at Seokjin, who offered a playful wave, the two of you stepped out.
