You sighed, leaning into the man as the sky grew dark. As you sat silently under the blackened sky, you yawned. You felt ijekiel's arms snake around your waist. A smile painted his face, his cheeks growing a rosy color.
"We should go home soon," He spoke quietly, inching closer to the crook of your neck. You nodded in agreement. You stood up, hoping off his lap. Smiling, he stood as well, taking your hand in his.
You skipped your way through the forest, humming as your fiancé followed closely behind.

"Shh..be quiet, they're asleep.." A child-like voice whispered. You looked over at Ijekiel, who had a cautious look on his face. Slowly you made your way closer to where the voice came from. You yelped quietly as a young boy bumped into you, falling backwards with a shriek.
You offered the boy your hand with a kind smile, to which he cling to you. He hugged you hard, you could feel him shaking as you held him. You held the young boy, looking to Ijekiel with a panicked look in your eyes. "p-please.." the boy stuttered, looking up at you, "save us..".
You got to your knees, brushing the boy's messy red hair from his face. Behind him you saw two other children, a young boy, no older than four with beautiful auburn hair. As well as a younger girl who looked to be around ten years of age with lovely long hazel hair.
Ijekiel dropped down beside you, worry in his golden eyes, "what happened?" he asked the young red haired boy.
He tried to speak between shaky sobs, but his words were incoherent. You held a protective grip around the boy, trying to sooth him. A frown crossed your face as you reached for the other children, watching them flinch.
The young girl slowly exhaled, seemingly letting her guard down. The second young boy stepped forward, reaching out towards the three of you. "Brother.." he called, reaching forward.
The young redheads hugged, pulling the third little girl into their grasp before the first came towards you again. "Please h-help us and our s-iblings.." he stuttered out, looking at you with his unique violet eyes. However before you could question, the young girl stepped forward, pulling the youngest of the three behind her. "We were taken, long ago, and us and our siblings are constantly being sold. please miss, sir, save us and our siblings," she looked down, almost ashamed.
Horror became evident on your face as you almost fell back into your fiancé, thankfully he caught you just in time.
Sitting up once more, you gave the three a gentle hug, feeling them lean into your touch. "We'll save them, whoever is left. I promise."
Your kind words meant a lot more to those children then you'd ever realize, and Ijekiel could tell. He promised himself he'd save those children, for you.
"Dear," he spoke, catching you and the children's attention.
"We really should get going, we can go to my estate, its not too far from here and we can have the children taken care of," he offered his hand.
You looked to the children in your arms before looking back at him. Sighing, you nodded. "Say, what are your names, little ones?" you asked, taking your fiancé's arm with your left, and the young auburn haired with your right.
The girl spoke first, seemingly excited as you all began to walk in the direction of the Alpheus dukedom. "My names Namika!" She spoke enthusiastically, causing a giggle to erupt from your throat. "And what are your names cuties?" you looked down at the little boy desperately holding your hand, then to the side at the boy clinging onto your fiancé's shirt.
The young auburn spoke barely above a whisper, but you could hear him as you were closer to him, "..O-osian.." And finally, the last one spoke, "Liam."
Your eyes lit up as they each spoke their names, "you must have had such wonderful parents to have named you the way they did," you spoke gently. The three children as well as Ijekiel looked at you questioningly.
You stopped walking, causing the rest to pause as well.
First you pointed to the seemingly eldest, "Namika; meaning Flower of the wave." Her eyes widened, she pointed to herself subconsciously.
Then you pointed to the second, the middle, "Liam; this one has two meanings, it can mean 'my people', or it can mean the protector." The young boy placed his hand on the sword against your fiancé's waist, then back at all of you.
And lastly, you bent down and pointed to the youngest before speaking, "finally, Osian; meaning little deer." The boy trembled slightly, holding your hand as though he'd die if you let go.
A maid nodded timidly, scrambling off as you walked into the manor with the children. You giggled as you absentmindedly played with the children in the spacious hallway.
Ijekiel smiled to himself as he watched the playful exchange, he knew one day you'd make a good mother, something he'd make happen sooner or later.
"Ijekiel?" a feminine voice rang through the hall, causing you and the children to stop, as you all turned to look at the source. "Jennette," Ijekiel acknowledged the brunette.
She spoke again, "who are these people?" as she walked into the corridor.
"Ijekiel, what a surprise," a platinum blond man walked down the hall, almost a carbon copy of your fiancé, Roger.
You were guided to Ijekiel's bedroom, the children following behind you. The room was extravagant, you wouldn't expect anything less from the heir of a Dukedom.

"So what brings you and your darling fiance here this late night?" Father asked, sitting in an arm chair in the drawing room.
"We were in the area, father we ran into children who'd been trafficked," I spoke, watching father's eyes grow wide at the statement.
I watched as he ordered a message of search be sent to the knights. He worked diligently and calmly, yet surprisingly quick.
I walked back to my room as i felt the situation would be handled shortly. As i walked into my childhood bedroom, I leaned on the door quietly with a smile, watching intently.
I found my soon-to-be wife in my childhood bed, reading to the three children. An adorable sight to see, one I hope to see often one day.
I watched as she kissed the trio of sleeping children, closing the book and leaving it on the nightstand. She got up, walking over to me with a smile.
"I'm sorry for using your bedroom," she said as she lead me out of the room, closing the door behind her.

As you pulled Ijekiel out of the room you apologized, to which he waved it off. "we have many bedrooms, we can use one down the hall," he smiled.
You nodded, smiling and following him as he led you to a room close by. He opened the door, stepping aside for you to walk in first,
