Unexpected Alliances

Declan, Gong, and Celina made their way towards the tower to see Sun Shadow, Moon Shadow, and Zuzu were dueled into a corner by 6 duelists, each controlling a Chaos Ancient Gear Giant. Zuzu was the only one with a monster remaining on the field as she was frozen in fear behind her Mozarta. One of the men stepped up as the rest chuckled.

??? 3: This is the end for you three lancers...

Gong: Leave them alone, you thunderheads! Gong's gonna be your new opponent now!

Gong began to rush towards Zuzu in hopes he can save their allies in time with Celina following right behind him.

???: Come on Zuzu, I know you can put up more of a fight than this!

Suddenly Yuri had dropped down from some nearby rubble and landed in front of Zuzu before activating his dueldisk with a sadistic giggle. Gong and Celina stopped as everyone stared in shock and fear of the man in front of them.

Zuzu: It's...you...

She took a step back in fear as Yuri turned his head to glance at her over his shoulder.

Yuri: I can't believe you'd let these clowns beat you Zuzu, you're much stronger than that but no matter....I'll handle these fools myself. I draw!

Yuri: It would seem lady luck is on my side today, which is bad news for you clowns! I summon Predaplant Ophrys Scorpio! I then use it's effect and discard Predaplant Squid Drosera to special summon Predaplant Darlington Cobra straight from my deck! By doing so, I can activate my Cobra's special ability to add a Polymerization from my deck to my hand and with that, I'll activate it immediately to fuse my two Predaplants into one! You think you're all that, but you will soon learn to tremble in the presence of true power! I fusion summon, level 8 Starving Venom Fusion Dragon!

Yuri: No, I'm very serious because when Starving Venom Fusion Dragon is fusion summoned, it can gain the ATK of every single special summoned monster on your field!

Yuri: And that's not even the best part, My Starving Venom can steal the effect of a monster of my choosing so I'll take the effect of your Chaos Ancient Gear Giant! With this, my dragon is immune to all your spells and traps, furthermore you can't activate monster effects, and I can attack all of your monsters this turn! This is the end for you, exterminate these pests at once!

Starving Venom destroyed all of the giant mechs one by one as their respective duelists were brutally slammed into debris, destroyed vehicles, or walls as Yuri smiled at his handiwork. Once his dragon was finished carrying out his commands, Yuri turned towards the Lancers and turned his dueldisk off.

Yuri: There, I saved your friends. Now help get me back to Duel Academy and I'll consider us even.

Celina: What are you doing here!?

Yuri: I could as you the same thing, aren't you supposed to be a student of Duel Academy? I don't think the Professor would approve of you skipping out on your classes Celina.

Celina: Enough of your silly games!

Yuri: Duel Academy was attacked a few days ago and it's been a warzone ever since.

Declan: You were attacked? By who?

Yuri: Not sure but your friends seemed quite familiar with them. Their leader was some tramp who called herself Yubel but isn't that supposed to be a monster card that's been severely outdated for a decade now? Either way, I was hunting down some of these fools when I ended up following them here, but I need to return to Duel Academy before something happens to the others. I can't trust them to protect themselves for the life of me. Especially with that "Yubel" running amuck everywhere.
