Chapter 19

The lunch was interesting for Aaliyah. She is used to guys inviting her for lunch because they like her. But she is not used to guys inviting her for the sole purpose of just eating lunch. It was so simple and chill. For the first time, she felt comfortable being with Soonyoung, without worrying if she would get physically hurt today or not. 

She is used to the idea that whenever they are together, she will always get hurt or almost will. Just like a while ago when they were practicing together, Soonyoung bumped into her and she fell hard on the floor. 

"Are you okay?" Soonyoung asked when she suddenly stopped eating her pesto. 

Bree was startled. She didn't know she was distracted by thinking about what happened earlier. "Of course," Bree answered. Then she continued to eat her pesto. Soonyoung brought her into an Italian restaurant. 

"How about the food? Was it good?" Soonyoung asked again trying to continue their conversation.  

"It is good," Bree answered. But Ru's cooking is better, Bree silently thought. 

"That's good to hear," Soonyoung told the lady. We can say the it was great and Aaliyah does looks comfortable with him.  

Aaliyah Brielle thought that he is generous for the choice of restaurant. He also let Bree choose whatever she wanted. It was like his payment for her free dance lesson a while ago. 

While they were eating food, Bree noticed her phone keeps on vibrating. She didn't want to be rude by looking at her phone while they were having a good conversation. She only looked at it when they were already at the car while on the way to Hybe for their practice.  

From Ruro❤: To where?

From Ruro❤: Hey! I think I deserve some update!

From Ruro❤: Fine! NVM! Enjoy your lunch date with Mr. Pervy. 

Brielle's face reddened when she read all the messages left by her friend. She didn't know how to react while she was with the guy, her friend was talking all about. She was silently cursing the girl in her mind.

Soonyoung saw Brielle's bothered face while texting someone on his side vision. He was still focused on the road, but he can't take his eyes off the disturbed girl. A little smile peaked through his mouth while driving. 

"Are you laughing at me, sir?" Bree saw that very moment when Soonyoung had a small laugh. 

He suddenly went conscious. He didn't mean to laugh and he also didn't want to be misunderstood. Not now while they were having a great time together. 

"Ani!" He immediately denied.

"But I saw you did," Bree was now a little frustrated. 

"I didn't mean to. You looked cute when you look distressed," Soonyoung innocently and honestly told the lady who became more frustrated. 

"Ugh! Ruro was annoying me calling our lunch a date. Now, you are laughing at me for looking annoyed," Bree groaned. She fixed the way she sat on the passenger's seat and then pouted in exasperation. 

"Then let her call it a date or whatever it is. Why? Can't friends go on a date? I thought girls also go on dates with their girl friends. And for that reason, let her call it whatever she wanted it to be," Soonyoung told Aaliyah Brielle. 

Bree found that very cool of Soonyoung. It was one of the things she didn't like, they might misunderstood her relationship with him, which she didn't mind. But when it becomes a disturbance, disgrace and annoyance to other people, that is when it became irritating for her, too. 

Wait! Did I really care about what will happen or what will other people think of him? This is not so me, Brielle's was caught right there. 

She never really cared not until Soonyoung became associated with her. She didn't want to tarnish his reputation, that was it. 

She shook her head upon realizing she was trying to protect someone aside from herself now. 

Until they reached the company, Brielle wanted to rub off that idea but it was still on her mind. She wanted to look chill and be professional so she decided to go with Soonyoung when they entered the building.  

I don't care. We are just friends and we are just arriving together so what is wrong with that? She thought again. 

That is when she felt eyes looking at them, especially when they were already in the practice room because most of the boys were already in there. 

"Good afternoon, ssaem!" they greeted Aaliyah when they saw her arrived. And they were shocked to see Soonyoung behind her, holding her things. Their curious mind were all over the place, however, they should practice first before asking.

What will happen next to Soonyoung? Will his friends give him peace of mind or will they bother him until he spill the tea?
