036. stop that
vivianne left her parents house right after her mom comforted her. she didn't want to leave sophie there alone, but the woman had also suggested her to leave, telling her it's not safe to stay there with james because of how mad he was. vivianne didn't go home after, she went straight to the bar to get a drink, spending the whole day there replaying the situation in her head over and over and over.
"a reason why you're here again?".
vivianne slowly looked up and saw the bartender from last night, walking out from the back with a small smile, placing his bag down, getting ready for his night shift, since he just arrived.
vivianne shrugged, "i dunno".
he raised his eyebrows with a chuckle, "you don't know?".
"nope".
"okay?" he just looked down at his bag and opened it as he crouched down, grabbing his things he needed for work, many people walking inside the bar now, all of them most likely friends. he stood back up and looked at the drink vivianne was holding, "soo, used your fake ID again?".
"can you quiet down? your boss might hear," she scoffed, gripping onto the bottle she was holding.
he raised his hands up in surrender and laughed, taking a step back, "okay, sorry, sorry".
she rolled her eyes and looked down at her drink, seeing that there was only half left. she pulled it towards her lips and took a long drink out of it, the bartender shaking his head and walking to the back of the bar, leaving vivianne there alone.
vivianne didn't know what time it was now, but it was dark outside, so it was late.
she heard her phone beep for the millionth time on the counter, and she grabbed it, seeing that gracie was messaging her again. she just sighed and flipped it over, facing the screen down and going back to drinking. the bartender walked back out as a couple walked over to the bar, wanting to get some drinks. the man smiled and asked what they wanted, both of them showing their ID's before he turned around and grabbed their drinks from the fridge, giving it to them. the couple laughed together, thanking him before turning around and going to party since loud music was playing.
"something wrong?" the bartender suddenly asked as he leaned forward on the counter, crossing his arms and staring at the girl with furrowed eyebrows.
"what?".
"you look— pretty upset or something, last night as well" he explained, and she grumbled in annoyance and looked down at her drink instead of at him, "look, you may not know me but...you can talk to me if you want?".
"seriously?".
"mhm," he hummed, standing up straight, "anddd...i'm super bored right now and have no drama in my life," he smirked, and vivianne scoffed.
