Jennie's POV:

As I sat across from my clients, I visited their place to check it, and for me to come up with some ideas, we were discussing their new home project. The couple, Sarah and David, were looking to remodel their living and dining areas.

"We want a modern but cosy vibe, you know? Something that's sleek but still feels inviting and warm

"We want a modern but cosy vibe, you know? Something that's sleek but still feels inviting and warm." Sarah started the conversation.

"Yeah, we were thinking about using a lot of natural materials, like wood and stone. And we definitely want a big, comfortable sofa, something we can just sink into after a long day." David added.

I smiled while jotting down on my notes.

"I'll put together a mood board and some initial design concepts for you to review. We can refine them as we go along to make sure it perfectly matches your vision."

"Thank you so much, Jennie. We can't wait to see what you come up with!" Sarah turned to me with a smile.

"You're welcome." I replied warmly. "I'm excited to get started. I'll be in touch soon with some designs."

We shook hands as they walked me to the front door.
I was driving my car going back to the office.

After the painful breakup, I tried to dive back into my normal life, focusing on my work as an interior designer.I kept a sketchbook filled with ideas and inspiration, and I often found myself flipping through it, adding new sketches or notes. One of my favorite parts of the job was selecting furniture and decor.
I enjoyed searching for the perfect pieces that would tie everything together, sometimes custom designing items to fit the space perfectly. I always aimed to create a balance between aesthetics and functionality, ensuring that each space was not only beautiful but also comfortable and practical. I'd visit the location, taking detailed measurements and notes about the lighting, existing structures, and overall vibe of the place.

I was finally back in the office, and finally, about to get lunch when I received a text from the person that I least expected.

"Hi Jennie, maybe we can catch up today if you have time

"Hi Jennie, maybe we can catch up today if you have time. I know a newly opened coffee shop."

I had no schedule in the afternoon, so I decided to meet with her. Lisa has this vibe that I can not explain. I drove to the address Lisa gave me. She mentioned it was a coffeehouse in the city, and when I pulled up, I immediately noticed how aesthetic the place was. It had this cosy, artsy vibe that was instantly inviting.
