Jennie's POV:
It's been almost three months since Lisa and I started this setup. We act like friends who just happen to have really great sex together. But there’s something about her presence that I can’t get enough of.
Our arrangement was supposed to be casual, but it didn’t stop my heart from fluttering whenever Lisa messaged me with a simple "Good morning," "Good night," or "Take care."I like how she randomly shows up at my place, sometimes unannounced. It’s always a pleasant surprise, and we often end up having sex and talking about life afterwards. Lisa has this way of making me feel comfortable, and her aftercare is always thoughtful, whether it's making sure I have water or just holding me close for a while. I never thought a setup like this would work for me, but somehow, it just fits.
Today has been a long day. I’ve been busy working on my designs, trying to meet a deadline that seems impossible to reach. The evening came, and I was still lost in my work when my phone rang.
It was Lisa.
"Hey, how’s the design genius doing?"she asked playfully when I answered.
I smiled at hearing her voice.
"Stuck under a mountain of sketches, but I’m surviving."I replied.
"What about you? Done charming the world?"
Lisa chuckled on the other end. "Charming? I only have eyes for one designer," she teased, making my cheeks flush.
"Careful, Lisa. You might make me believe you actually like me or something."I joked back, enjoying the playful banter.
"Well, maybe I do. How’s your day been beside the sketch mountain?"she asked.
"Pretty hectic, but talking to you makes it better."I admitted, not minding how cheesy it sounded.
"What’s up?"
"I was thinking of dropping by if you’re not too busy." she offered, her tone turning a bit more serious.
I bit my lip, considering it.
"I’d like that. I could use a distraction. But only if you promise to bring snacks this time." I said mischievously.
"Snacks and a back rub. How does that sound?"Lisa replied, her voice dripping with charm.
"Now you’re talking. See you soon?"I asked, already anticipating her visit.
"On my way." she confirmed before hanging up.
I quickly packed up my things. Lisa had messaged me, saying she was downstairs, and I couldn't wait to see her. It was already 10 p.m., and as I stepped outside, I spotted her leaning against her car, focused on her phone. She looked effortlessly cool in her leather jacket, the streetlights casting a soft glow around her.
"Hey, what’s got you so engrossed? Talking to other girls while I’m right here?" I teased as I approached her.
Lisa looked up, a mischievous grin spreading across her face. "Oh no, you caught me." she said, slipping her phone into her pocket.
"I was just setting up a date with someone who really likes designers."
"Ha, very funny." I replied, rolling my eyes but unable to hide my smile. "Should I be jealous?"
She chuckled, opening the car door for me with a playful bow.
"Maybe a little jealousy suits you." Lisa teased. "Now, get in, m’lady."
I slid into the passenger seat, and Lisa joined me, quickly buckling up. As she reached over to help me with my seatbelt, our faces were only inches apart. I could see the playful spark in her eyes.
