Y/n POV

We passed through all the wire which was extremely difficult to do so. It was a good tactic for walkers, not humans. The bending down was really getting on my nerves. Which we could have just cutted it down, but that would have been disrespectful to their people if they were still alive.

"Ah!" Noah said, we all turned around and he got cut with one of the wires.

"You all right?" Rick asked as he walked over to Noah. Noah was touching the cut on his forehead to make sure he was okay.

"Yeah. Yeah." Noah said as he took the lead. When we walked a bit farther Rick stopped him.

"They have spotters? Snipers?" Rick asked him, listing off stuff we have done in the past.

"We built a perch on a truck. Sometimes it's our front." Noah said as he looked at Rick.

"Not today" Glenn said from behind me. He was getting a better look at the neighborhood. We all went over to get a better look.

When we made it up the small hill we saw a road leading to a neighborhood. It was closed off. And Noah went forward and banged on the wall.

"You hear that?" Noah asked, I heard nothing expect for footsteps on our side.

"Just wait" Glenn said as he walked over. (Y'all I can't do this man, I cried my eyes out when Tyreece died and I loved Noah) and leaned over the fence. His face changed and you could tell something had happened. Glenn shook his head as he looked down at Noah.

Noah went up and tried to climb up the fence. He was able to make it over and we all climbed up after him. When we made it inside some of the houses were burnt and looked like they had been bombed.

"Noah, hold up!" I called out to him. He was breathing really fast and he was moving as fast  as his legs could carry him.

"Noah!" Rick called as Noah started to run. We all ran after him, we didn't want anything bad to happen to Noah or for him to do anything bad as well.

Noah stopped running as he saw walkers on the ground and a lone walker running around. It was his people, people he knew for a long time. He held his head and started to sob. My heart broke for him. He fell down to the ground holding his head. I wanted to do something but I couldn't.

I walked over to Noah and I put my arm around him. He leaned into my touch and cried into my arms. I coudknt help but let a couple of tears fall as well.

"It's all right. Your gonna be with us now" I said softly as I rubbed his back. I didn't want him to go through this alone.

"I'll get him" Michonne said as she walked over to the walker.

"I'm sorry Noah" Rick said as he kneeled down over to us. I turned away so I could wipe the tears off my face as I kept a tight hold on Noah. "I truly am. We should see if there's anything we can use and head back." Rick said as he stood up.

"Then what?" Michonne asked as she looked back at Rick. Noah clung on to my shirt and kept on crying. "They see us" Michonne said as she went over to the walker.

"We can make a quick sweep." Glenn said, I heard his voice from somewhere behind me.

"I'll stay with him" Tyreece said as he looked down at me. I nodded my head. I slowly got up and gave Noah one last hug and walked over to to Michonne.

I pulled out my katana and went on her other side and handled the walkers. I didn't want to think about if Noah knew them because it would make it a lot harder to kill them. These were people. People he knew.

Glenn, Michonne, Rick and I made it to a house with an open up garage. I stayed back with Glenn was I watched Michonne break a glass and Rick look at her.

"Clean shirt" she said as she picked it up and shrugged her shoulders.

"We'll figure it out" Rick said as he nodded his head to her. If this place was good, we could have stayed here with those people.

"We will. There's some garbage bags in the garage." Michonne said as she passed by us.

"You didn't think it would still be here?" Rick asked as he watched Glenn.

"Did you?" Glenn asked Rick. I had some hope it would still be here for Noah.

"After it happened, right after with Beth in the hospital, I saw that woman Dawn. She didn't mean to do it. I knew it. I saw it. But I wanted to kill her. I remember I just wondered if it even mattered. One way or another. Didn't have a thing to do with Beth. I don't know if I thought it would still be here. But Beth wanted to get him here. She wanted to get him back home. This was for her. And it could have been for us, too." Rick said as he looked over at us.

We couldn't he's the place because every house was blown up or burnt down. I felt bad for Noah. I missed Beth. I just wanted to things to work out.

I kicked a piece of trash. Moments like this made you think about who you lost. That's why I didn't like being alone with my thoughts. Because that's when things got bad. That's why I liked having distractions.

"I was thinking about that guy in the storage container. Back at Terminus. How I made us stop. After the prison, on my trip, I wanted to get Y/n back. Losing Washington...losing...losing Beth. Right after just finding out she's alive...I hadn't caught up with you yet. If it were now, I wouldn't make us stop. We'd run right by. And I would have shot that woman dead." Glenn said, I sat on the ground and listened. I wouldn't know what I would have done.

"We need to stop. You can be out here way too long" Michonne said as she had stuff in her hands.
