Y/n POV
A bridge. Walkers. Tired. Thirsty. Hot. Hungry. That's all the things that were going through our heads. We didn't have the energy to fight these walkers. We all knew that. We split up on two sides of the bridge.
Our goal was just to make them fall off the bridge one at a time. We didn't have the weapons to kill them and no one was in the right head space.
Rick, Glenn, Michonne and I were on one side of the bridge while Maggie, Sasha, JJ, and Abraham were on the other. Evie and Judith were with the rest of them at the end of the bridge. We couldn't out walk the walkers anymore and they were slowly catching up to us. Rick lead us up and we started to walk closer.
We followed Rick as we guided them off the bridge. Pushing them off and staying still. I side stepped one and shoved the walker down the bridge. I turned to my side and I saw Sasha grab ahold of a walker. That wasn't the plan.
"Sasha" I whispered over to her. (Y'all sorry if my spelling is off today it's one of those days) trying to get her attention. I saw her stab the walker in the head.
"Stay in line. Flank her. Keep it controlled." Rick said to me. Now that Sasha had killed one by her hands we all had to go and get our knife's out.
"Plans just got dicked." I heard Abraham said as I walked over to Sasha. I grabbed her arm and I felt her pull against me.
"Stop. Just get out of here." I tired to tell her but she pushed me off of her. I was starting to get pissed off at her because she wouldn't just listen and now we had a bigger problem on our hands.
I killed a walker that was trying to sneak up on me. I pushed it to the side and went after her. She was being stupid right now. It felt like I had to baby sit her every move.
Sasha spun around and sliced Abraham open with her knife. She tumbled over as she tried to kill another Walker. I pushed her out of the way and kicked the Walker in the leg and stabbed him in the head.
"I told you to stop." I said to her once everything was over. She was on the ground as she slowly looked up at me. She got up and stared at me. "You got something to say?" I asked her as I put my hands on my hips. She was panting as she turned around and stumbled away.
I turned around and I saw Rick and Glenn staring at me. I didn't know what more there was to do. I get she was upset but she wasn't being reasonable.
...
"Dad, look" I heard Carl say. I have no idea how long we have been walking for. I looked up and i saw a pile of cars and my heart jumped.
"I'm gonna head into the woods, circle back." Daryl said as he looked at Rick.
"May i come with?" Carol asked as she stepped up closer to him.
"No. No, just me." Daryl said as he walked away. Something must have happened last time because Daryl seemed different coming back.
Everyone went and looked at the cars. I walked to a small grey car. I was hoping to find something in there like water or something. If there was food it probably wouldn't be any good.
I wiped some dust off the window so I could get a better look inside. There wasn't anything in there like a dead walker so I opened up the passenger side. I looked inside the console. And there was nothing.
Aside from a pair of sunglasses and a women's shoe. I leaned back in the passenger seat where the keys were dangling still in the ignition. I pulled them out and went over to the truck.
I unlocked the truck hoping I could find something useful inside. I opened it up and I found a girl. Tied up in the trunk. Her arms were tied together and her mouth had something over it.
She let out a snarling sound and I shut the trunk. I started to walk away before I stopped. I heard a thudding sound. It wasn't some walker anymore. It was a girl. She died, alone in a car from suffocation. She didn't even know what was happening in the outside world.
I stopped before I went back to the trunk. I tried to open it back up and put the girl out of her misery. The keys were jammed into the car. I contuined to pull but nothing was working and I was staring to get pissed. I banged my hands on the trunk before I got my gun out.
I pointed my gun on the lock and I was depending on what I Should do. I felt someone put their hand on mine as soon as I was about to pull the trigger.
"Y/n" Glenn said softly as I grabbed ahold of my arm. I didn't look at him or lower my gun down.
"There's one..." I said before I trailed off as I looked at him. "There's one in there. And I shut it and it's still in there." I said as I watched Glenn move to the trunk.
"Okay" He mumbled as he sat down his gun and I moved Behind him. I saw him fidget with the keys and I watched him push open the trunk. I watched him kill the worker and out his knife back in his pocket. "Let's go" He said as he put his arm around my shoulder and push me forward.
I nodded my head and I moved back with the other group. It was hard to remember the world was still fucked ip when everything was going to shit.
