Y/n POV

Later, we were collecting stuff that was useful in trash bags. There wasn't a lot of stuff that we could bring back but i did find some cool stuff. We met back together and Michonne had an idea.

"We could put some of the garage doors together against the break. Park a car against them until we can brick it up. It can work." Michonne said, she wanted to live here.

"This place is surrounded by a forest. There's no sight lines." Rick said as Michonne let out a sigh as we contained to walk. "Whoever, whatever would be on top of us without us even knowing it. That's probably what happened." Rick said, it was obvious someone bombed this place.

"That's what happened to us." Glenn said, he was right. The prison, we weren't prepared even when we should we should have been.

"We could start taking down the trees. We use them to build the walls up." Michonne said, we all got quiet. She sighed and looked over at us. "Look." She said as she walked ahead of us.

We followed her and it lead us to a break in the wall followed by tracks from cars. There were hundreds of dead bodies surrounded us. They were chopped up and it looked like whoever came through here was not playing around.

I turned around and I looked over at the side of the fence that was brought down. Even if we tried to build this place back up there were so many breaks in the walls.

"It doesn't matter" Glenn said as he looked around.

"What?" I heard Rick ask.

"You said you wondered if it even mattered if you killed her or not. It doesn't matter if you had done it or if I had, or that Daryl did. It doesn't matter." Glenn said, they were talking about the lady that killed Beth.

"Washington. Eugene lied about a cure, but he thought of Washington for a reason." I said as I really thought about it. There had to be some sort of connection. Eugene is smart, he wouldn't just pick some random place that made no sense to him.

"But he was lying" Glenn said as he looked over at me.

"About the cure, but he did the math and realized that Washington was the place where there'd be a chance. We're close." I said as I crossed my arms over my chest. We couldn't live in that crappy church forever. "What if there are people there? Huh? What if it's someplace that we can be safe? We're 100 miles away. It's a possibility. It's a chance. Instead of just being out here. Instead of just making it. Because right now, this is what making it looks like" I said as I pointed at the dead bodies all over the ground. "Don't you want one more day with a chance?" I asked them. I saw Rick's head nodd and then the sound of a walker slowly coming towards us.

Glenn and I have a baby. We can't risk getting by every single day. We need to ensure our safety all the time. And finding a good place like that would make so much sense for us and the rest of us.

"We should go" Rick said, the walkers haven't even noticed us yet. "It's 100 miles away" Rick said as Glenn started to walk back into the neighborhood. "We should go to Washington." Rick said, I smiled a tiny bit. This was good.

"Rick!" I heard Noah yell. I dropped my trash bag and looked at everyone else. I walked closer to where Noah was running towards us. "Help! Rick! Y/n! Glenn! Michonne!" Noah screamed.

I dropped my stuff and took out my Katana and I ran towards Noah. I heard the footsteps behind me of everyone else. My heart started to beat faster in thoughts of what Noah could have found.

"Help!" We heard Noah scream. We ran up on the side of a house and Noah was kneeling in a corner with a couple of walkers surrounding him.

"Noah, hold on!" Glenn said as we went over to go help Noah.

"I got him" I said to Rick and I took out the Walker that was trying to sneak up on us.

"It's Tyreece!" Noah said as Glenn helped him up. I looked over at Noah.

"Where?" I asked as my heart started to beat faster. What happened to him? Was it a walker? Was he hurt?

"My house. He's been bit." My heart dropped as I watched Noah lead the way and we all ran after him.

My heart beat faster as we continued to run to where Noah's house was. A million thoughts raced through my head as I thought of what could be happening. We could always save him, right? Just like Hershel.

It depends on where and how long he was bit for. We were running out of time and the faster I ran the more my legs hurt but I didn't have time to give up.

When we ran into the room, Tyreece was covered in blood and he got bit in his arm. He had his head back and he was sweating. I saw Rick look at me and I knew what I had to do. Just how I had to do with Herhsel.

"You hold him" I said to Rick as Rick held on to Tyreece bloody hand. We were slowly running out of time.

"I got it! Go!" Rick said to me. "One cut, clean. Go!" Rick said to me. That was the only thing that processed into my mind.

I brought my katana down to his arm and it was a clean slice. We hurried up and grabbed a bedsheet to stop the bleeding from spreading.

I wiped my hands off and we had to get Tyreece out of here quick and we were slowly running out of time. I had to do this for Sasha. No more losses. We couldn't.
