Y/n POV

This was a little unnecessary. After Rick came back she lead us into the back of her house and we had to drop off all of our weapons. I was ready to get strip searched at this point.

"They're still your guns. You can check them out whenever you go behind the wall. But inside here, we store them for safety." Deanna said as she watched us all take off the guns we had.

"Should have brought another bin" The lady with glasses joked as she took the bin away with all of our weapons.

They gave us a house and they let us explore whenever and whatever. This was all pretty new to all of us and I thought this place was very interesting. Others of us were getting interviewed.

Like me. I was sitting in here I leaned back on the chair as I watched the camera she had pointing at me. She didn't even give me time to make sure I looked presentable.

"Y/n. Are you related to Daryl? You have the same face shape" Deanna started as she looked at me.

"He's my older brother" I said as I crossed my arms over my chest.

"I could tell. You both carry yourself in the same way. You share the same last name as Glenn, I suppose you're married to him?" She asked she crossed her legs over the other and looked at me.

"That you are correct. And we have a daughter together. Have you met her yet? She would be with Glenn" I said with a smile as I thought about my little Evie.

"I have. She is wonderful" She said with a smile. "Now this might be a hard question to answer but, your arm" She said as she looked down. I figured she was going to ask that.

"We were at a prison. It got over run. I was pregnant at the time. And I woke up to a walker biting my arm. I cut my arm off and JJ and Christopher. Don't know if you met them, but they saved me" I said with a soft smile as I looked back at all the time had passed.

"I have. They are wonderful people. But you, Y/n you intrigue me. There's something about you" She said with a small glint in her eye. I looked at her with a confused look. "I could tell this world had changed you. And you are special" She said with a small smile. "Now I will check up on you and I do have a special job for you later down the road. But feel free to check anything out and meet with the other community members as well. Make yourself at home" she said. And with that I booked it out of there.

When I walked down the steps I accidentally bumped into something. They had dropped the books in their hand and I bent down to pick it up.

"Sorry about that, sometimes I just forget where I'm going" The man said. I froze. The voice. I knew that voice. I looked up and I saw familiar blue eyes and brown hair. "Y/n?" He asked.

Spencer. We dated back in collage for about like a couple of years and we broke up because he wanted to help with his dad's business and we couldn't do long distance. I haven't seen him in years and the break up was really wasn't what we wanted. I cried on Michonne and I bedroom floor for weeks until she made me get up.

"Spencer" I said with a big smile. I wrapped my arms around him and gave him a hug. It felt comfortable and familiar. He was a sweet guy and he never rushed me for anything ever. (Guys I can't remember if she was a virgin before Glenn or not but let's just say Spencer was her first time)

"I can't believe it. I really thought I'd never see you again." He said as he pulled away from the hug and he put his hands on both of my shoulders. "And wow you look beautiful. And you're alive" he gushed as he hugged me again. "Your arm" he trailed off as he looked down at it.

"Oh, funny story. A Walker kinda like chewed it so I cut it off" I said with a laugh as I looked down at my arm. I knew when people saw it that would be the first thing that they looked at.

"Wow. That is not the same Y/n I knew back in collage" Spencer said with a small laugh. I couldn't hemp but laugh as well.

"I should be heading back to my place. My group is probably concerned" I said as I looked down. I knew the others would be waiting and I didn't want to deal with the questions.

"It's okay. Let me walk you back, it's dark" Spencer said with a smile as wrapped his arm around my shoulder and we walked back.

"Thank you" I said with a small smile. "So how have you been?" I asked with a dry laugh as we started to walk down the dark neighborhood.

"Pretty good. I helped dad out before all of this happened. But now we have a good neighborhood and it's safe." Spencer said as he let go of my shoulder as we walked down the street. "And I'm glad you're here" the simple comment made my heart flutter in a tiny way.

"Me too" I mumbled softly as we slowly down it down the street. Not many people were out and if they were the waved at Spencer and asked him how he was doing.

"How have you been?" He asked me with a small smile as he pumped his elbow into my side playfully.

"Well, I had a baby" I said with a laugh. "I'm married..." Glenn. What am I doing? I'm being fucking pissed if I saw Glenn doing something like this with a girl.

"Wow" Spencer said as he looked at me. Hurt. Jealousy? I couldn't place it but he demeanor had changed completely. I felt him tense up as he looked away from me. "That's good" he said with a forced smile.

When we made it to the house I walked up on the front porch. It was giving every first date ever. The lights were off in the house and I didn't know if anyone was awake. Spencer looked at me with a soft smile.

"I'll see you tomorrow" he mumbled as he walked away. I watched him go before I turned the knob to the house.

Why am I so stupid? I had so many thought running through my head and I didn't know what to do. I love Glenn there was no doubt about that but something a tiny part of me wondered what life could have been if I did go with Spencer.

When I opened the door I was surprised to see everyone from my group. Together. Standing there. Like angry parents when their kid comes home from curfew late. The only one that was excited to see me was the crawling Evie who was able to talk to me.

"Fuck me" I mumbled as I picked up Evie ready to get my ass chewed into.
