Jules Verne once wrote, "Put two ships in the open sea without wind our tide, they will come together."
From what Damien told me, that's how our grandparents met. Like two ships destined for each other. They were from different worlds. Our grandfather from the land, and our grandmother from the sea. However life, like the sea, has a way of bringing people together.
Our grandmother, Atlanna, fled an arranged marriage. Left her whole life behind. But in our grandfather, Tom, in his lighthouse, she found something unexpected. And with him, he found the love of his life. And had our father.
But Atlantis' memory is long, and it's king refused to let her go.
Their two worlds were never meant to meet, and our father was the product of a love that never should have been. And with that she left, to protect our grandfather, and our father.
Many years later, our father was still in that small town that he had grown up in. And he met a woman, our mother, who was indeed the descendant of Zeus. And just like those two ships, without the wind or tide, they found each other.
A man from both the land and sea, and a woman with the powers of the gods. They were in love, and years later, they had us, Damien, and myself.

I walk to the small café where I was meeting CeCe and Luna for a girls brunch lunch. I open the door and see them both sitting and talking to each other. I make my way to the table and they see me coming. "Hello my fellow ladies." I say as I sat on one side.
