I stand at the mast, and adjusting to the sail. And Mera was playing a flute. I see Damien place a shirt on and he stretches his neck from laying on a pile of tarps. "How you feeling bro?"

"Better." He says and he looks at the ocean. "Uh," he says and then looks at me.

"I know we stole a boat, and all that, but we're on a time crunch." I say to him. We both walk over to Mera and she stops playing her flute.

"How are you're injuries?" she asks.

"They've been better, thanks." He says to her, as we sat down.

"Those were Orm's elite commandos. But the one who led them, he wasn't Atlantean. I've never seen him before." She says to us.

"Neither of us have." Damien says. "I think we made an enemy, and he could have hurt you guys." He says looking at us.

"Well, he's behind us now." Mera says to him. "It's what lies ahead that should concern us." Then I look at her. "The charted path leads to the Kingdom of the Trench."

"The Trench?" I ask her.

"It's the one, where they sent our grandmother to die." He says.

"She was taken there and sacrificed to them." Mera says concluding his explanation. "It's become a place of death. We know next to nothing about what's down there." She says.

Damien looks at the ocean and then back at his feet. "What if we turn back?" he asks causing us to look at him like he's crazy. "We can warn the surface. Try and prepare them for what's to come."
