THRID POINT OF VIEW"Hello? Is this Ms. Maraj?" Onika immediately sat up. She was fast asleep from the blunt she had rolled last night. She planned on sleeping in to catch up on sleep she'd been missing.
But it seemed as if that wouldn't happen any time soon.
"Yes this is. Who am I speaking with?" The girl stood from the couch immediately. Heading to the front door quickly.
"Hi yes this is Susan the head nurse over your mother. I just wanted to let you know we did give your mom another dose of treatment. She's more groggy than before, rest is the best thing for her right now."
Onika stopped letting out a sigh of relief. Her heart was pounding in her chest. Tears found there way in her eyes immediately. She thanked the nurse letting her know she'd be stopping by very soon.
She got ready throwing on something regular today. Polito wasn't here so he couldn't force her to wear a suit or a dumbass trench coat. She was in her own house so she did what was best for her. She threw on a hoodie and some joggers.
Calling her uncle immediately as she got in the car. He answered quickly talking her over the things that were going on. Domo was taking over some of her work because she was down here. Which she was thankful for but she didn't want him to have to work double.
She needed to tell Beyoncé that she was taking her soon. The girl sighed running a hand down her face. She zoomed to the hospital first thing, she needed to see her mom first.
"When you get back I've set up another stunt. Your partner being—." Onika cut Lito off with a huff.
"I can't get someone else? She plays too much, and if I bring Beyoncé out there. I don't want any problems."
"No no no. You need to tell her the truth or keep her away from it. Nikki you know how we work, she is one of our best."
"I'll try my best." Beyoncé would flip even more if onika told her anything. They get into plenty more fights arguments. What she was doing in Houston was like playtime.
In New York playtime was over.
She finished up her conversation with her uncle. Pulling into the hospitals parking lot she went straight upstairs. Ignoring the woman that eyed her as she moved. These nurses were in heat but she wasn't here for that.
She softly knocked on the door before opening it. Her mom was fast asleep, her eyes shut as her chest rose and fell. Onika grabbed a seat pulling it toward her bedside. Immediately she lay her head onto her mom's stomach. Holding her hand as she matched her breathing.
"You'll be okay mama. I'll make sure you're okay."
Onika sat there for hours just waiting for her to wake up. But she didn't she was fast asleep and it worried her just a bit. But the doctors assured her she just needed rest. Her energy was going to come in intervals. One day she would have it the next or would be completely gone.
It was too much for the jet to handle at the moment. She pulled out her phone texting her Houston friends. Waka, Ty, Wayne letting them all know she was hitting up a bar around the area. She didn't want to think too much she needed a break.
