Hey y'all, author here!
Just a small announcement that sometime in the next few monthes I will be going through and rewriting this book. Mostly just fixing spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes. My writing has improved a lot and I feel like this story deserves a little TLC.
Note that, yes, some chapters may have bigger changes than others, but the plot will not change at all. It's simply cutting out dragging descriptions and better articulating character interactions.
This motivation came from all the new activity this fanfic has been receiving. I love reading comments but when doing so I've become aware of how bad my punctuation is. Like half of the dialouge doesn't even have "quotation" marks. It hurts my eyes to look at lmao
But I'm not surprised as I typed most chapters on my phone. Thumb cramps are NOT helpful when writing.
I also want to thank everyone who took the time to read this fanfic. As my first time writing on wattpad I didn't expect it to get much attention or love. Frankly I didn't know what I was doing.
This fanfic is now up to 37.7k views upon writing this update. Which is wild. Like you have no idea how excited it makes me whenever I open the app and see new notifications on a story I wrote years ago to help cope with the stress of school, work, and covid.
Again, this will mainly be editing with a bit of rewrite. So don't feel like you need to reread everything once I'm done. But I'm also not stopping you!
I'll indicate finished edits at the end of the chapters and also make a list down below. Once all editing is done I'll delete this announcement.
