68. Ciel's 4d Chess Move With Headaches

                                Ciel's POV

After I arrived to save Milim and Sasha I used Illusion king Mephisto on Feldway secretly so he wouldn't notice me placing the curse mark on him. I've made some improvements so it can't be removed by the individual who's marked or by their allies. Basically it's an improved version of the one Zegion used to use. He'll likely get it again but it will be a while longer before he does. Once I do that I'll then use the illusions to trick Feldway into believing a normal soldier of the empire is Sasha and then let him get away. Sure we could kill him now but we need him to send us souls, ahem, I mean an army to use as training for our men in the war with the east. We also need Micheal to to release the last soul fragment so Velgrynd will return as well. It also doesn't help that a variant of her is still in the east so she couldn't return even if she wanted to.

I also already placed a mark on Micheal as well so he won't know either along with the single digits that are here as well. Though he will likely lose it after he discards his current body if he notices it. Feldway will do the same since both have no attachment to their bodies currently. Can't never be to though in these kinds of situations. Sure I can put one on the souls of both troublesome individuals in question but it would be easier for them to notice it as well. Knowing Feldway however, he'd be able to remove the skill if he noticed it with his administrative privileges that all original angels have. So this was the best option I had with the small amount of time available to me.

Next I need to make said solder act in a manner that Feldway will be fooled into believing the individual is Sasha. The individual can't be too weak or strong either. Luckily I know a perfect person to use it on who lacks the skills and intelligence to see past the illusion in question. So I move next to put the mark on Cornu. I first force him to be here fully with this body being his real one through thought domination. Then I get him to think this is part of the plan so he will follow through with the manipulation.

It took a bit and everyone did well to buy me the time I needed to get it done as well. Diablo as usual was holding back to enjoy the fight and Feldway was abusing the castle guard skill so he couldn't be hit at all. Oh, how did I get through it you ask? Well it's a simple answer really. I can also use castle guard and have a better version of it as well. Simply fooling the skill itself into thinking my castle guard was a part of Feldways after that was simple enough. Not that I still didn't struggle with it since Milim was putting her weight behind every hit she threw. I'll need to get her to understand restraint sooner than later it seems.

After all the set up I decided to watch for as long as possible so I could gather intel on any possible anomaly's that might appear. Milim in that time got distracted by someone and ignored Feldway for the time being. A few were keeping Feldway busy on our side like those humans that we acquired long ago. All except Noble and Fluffy. Noble was a natural born killer that was further enhanced by his people. I saw the enhancements and even managed to copy the ingredients used on him long ago. I'm still working on perfecting the formula so we can use it on our soldiers but it's still not complete yet. It was designed for humans originally so modifying it from scratch is proving troublesome.

But Noble has the most experience in combat out of them all and is dedicated to protecting his species since childhood. His initial distaste for some species seemed to be from their similarities to ones he fought back in his original world. This is still a small issue we have but his problems with it have lessened some since our first meeting. It also didn't help that he was basically indoctrinated into his thought process by his training and upbringing. His strong dedication to protecting his people is what allowed him to be the first to become a saint out of the humans long ago. He has also gained the requirements of the hero's egg from it as well. Though he hasn't hatched it for similar reasons as Hinata didn't yet but both should with time.
