TWENTY SEVEN - REUNIONS 2.0
Jack sat on the picnic blanket as Rose laid down, her head on his legs. They were watching as the sun went down whilst chatting away "I can't believe it's been almost 7 years..." Jack said quietly. Rose immediately knew what he meant; 7 years since the sinking "I know... what a rollercoaster, hey?" She looked up at him "meeting, you saving my life, surviving the sinking of a ship, running from a marriage, moving here, a holiday to Santa Monica as we always said, our own marriage, trying for a baby, taking in the children, having to let them go... all in 7 years" she laughed in disbelief, him also joining in "but you know what?" She said, looking in to his eyes "what?" He said, stroking her cheek "I wouldn't change it... I mean, I'd change the Cal bit and the children going back to New York. But the rest of it? Never in a million years" she said. He smiled softly at her and bent down, kissing her.

Grace, Poppy and Harry arrived at Jack and Rose's house. Grace knocked on the door but there was no answer "what do we do now Grace?" Harry asked "we erm- I guess we wait for them to get home" Grace said, sitting on the door step, Harry sat beside her and Poppy sat in her lap "hey, I forgot to tell you, I brought you a toy each, here" she said going through her bag and handing them one each.
They sat there a while and the sun was almost down "Grace, what if they don't live here anymore?" Harry said. Grace froze, what if Harry was right? She lifted Poppy off her knee and peered through the window. Everything was as it was when they left, so she assumed - and hoped - that Jack and Rose still lived there, she sat back down and lifted Poppy back in to her lap. Every scenario went through Grace's mind; what if they had moved out, or they were on holiday? Where would the children stay then. She doubted herself and whether it was wise to have left New York after all.

Jack and Rose stayed in the same position for a while quietly, Jack running his fingers through Rose's hair as she rested her head on his lap. The sun had almost gone completely down and Jack spoke "come on, let's head home" Rose nodded and he helped her up, picking up the picnic basket and throwing the blanket inside it.
He took hold of her hand and they began the walk home.

Grace, Harry and Poppy were still sat on the doorstep "Grace, it's dark, I don't like it" Poppy said "Where are we going to sleep tonight?" Harry asked, looking concerned. "Shh" Grace whispered, hearing footsteps and mumbling. Jack and Rose hadn't heard anyone chatting, too engrossed in their conversation, they turned on to the pathway of their house and still didn't look up and see the children. The twins jumped up seeing them, "JACK!" Harry shouted as he ran forward "ROSE!" Poppy shouted, also running forward. Grace stood up, relieved they Jack and Rose had returned to the house
