THIRTY FOUR - ZOO

After the 5 of them were ready, they walked down to the zoo. "Which animal are you looking forward to see most kids?" Jack asked "the monkeys!" Harry grinned excitedly "the tigers!" Poppy smiled. "Grace?" Jack asked, she was surprised she was being asked too but thought for a second "the giraffes I think" she smiled.

Once they arrived, they walked round, the twins pointing out every animal they saw... including the butterflies that just happened to be flying around. "THE TIGERS!" Poppy shouted when she spotted them, and ran to the glass to get a better view. Grace smiled, watching her run, knowing that aside from a few minutes precious memories with their biological Dad, the twins had never been so happy "mummy! Look at the baby tiger!" She gasped as Rose caught up "oh yes!" She smiled at her "he's gone down the hill, I can't see him now" Poppy said sadly "here" Jack lifted Poppy up and put her on his shoulders "thank you" she smiled and held on to him "I like them!" After spending 10 minutes looking at the tigers, whilst getting a running commentary from Poppy, they decided to carry on walking round.

They reached the monkeys and it was Harry's turn to run off to them "they're so big!" Harry said, almost confused, expecting them to be smaller, making Rose laugh "here..." she pointed to a sign by the glass "it says their names" she grinned "what are they?" Harry asked, he managed to read a few but struggled on reading most of them.

Once they were done going round the zoo, Jack spoke as they reached the gift shop "you can choose one thing each, OK?" He smiled at them, making the twins gasp "really?!" and Jack nodded "thank you" Grace smiled gratefully. After looking around, Harry settled on a puzzle with a monkey on it, Grace chose a drinking glass with a 'G' on with giraffes on it "is that G for 'Grace' or 'Giraffe'?" Rose smirked to her "both..." Grace laughed.

Poppy had chosen for a Tiger teddy. "Darling, are you sure you want to get another teddy? You have Flopsy at home" but Poppy nodded "yes... my other Daddy got me Flopsy, and my new Mummy and Daddy got me the tiger... they're both special" Poppy said innocently, making Jack, Rose and Grace's hearts melt.

They paid for their items before heading home and having dinner.

I made this short since it's just a zoo trip and there's only so much you can write about before it becomes repetitive and gets boring but i hope everyone's still enjoying it!
