Sayako's pulse quickened as the thunder beast charged, its massive form barreling toward her with terrifying speed. The cavern filled with the sound of its powerful footsteps, each one echoing through the dark space like the drums of war. The golden eyes of the beast Locked onto her, a dangerous light flickering within them as they prepared to strike.

With a swift motion, Sayako activated her Phantom Reflection cursed technique. One of Her eye flashed a vivid red, and in an instant, multiple clones materialized around her, each one a perfect mirror of herself. They fanned out, surrounding the beast, their weapons drawn and ready. The air was tense, crackling with energy as they prepared to launch their attack.

The thunder beast slowed its approach, growling as it scanned the circle of identical Sayakos, assessing the threat. But instead of hesitating, it let out a thunderous roar and charged at one of the clones, swiping with its massive claws. The clone barely had time to react before it was obliterated, its form dissipating into nothingness under the force of the blow.

Sayako's heart pounded as she watched the clone disappear, her confidence wavering. This beast wasn't like the enemies she had faced before; it was stronger, faster, and seemingly impervious to her cursed techniques. But she couldn't afford to falter. Clenching her jaw, she commanded the remaining clones to attack, hoping to overwhelm the beast with sheer numbers,

The clones lunged at the beast from all sides, their weapons flashing as they struck in unison. Sayako moved with them, her blade slicing through the air as she aimed for the creature's vulnerable spots, But the beast was too fast, It twisted and turned, dodging the attacks with surprising agility for its size, its claws slashing out and tearing through the clones one by one. { Beta reader: dumb fact I was struggling to spell 'dodge' today }

Within moments, the cavern was Littered with the remnants of Sayako's failed technique. The clones were gone, and she was left alone to face the beast, her breath coming in short, panicked gasps, The beast growled, a deep, rumbling sound that shook the very ground beneath her feet, its golden eyes gleaming with a predatory hunger.

With no time to think, Sayako summoned her Spectral Dominion, calling forth cursed spirits from the shadows of the cavern. The dark forms twisted and writhed as they surged forward, their eerie shapes converging on the beast, attempting to latch onto its fur and drag it down. But the beast was relentless, It shook off the spirits with a furious roar, its body sparking with electrical energy as it dispelled their curses with ease.

Sayako's heart sank, Her strongest techniques were failing her. The thunder beast was immune to her cursed manipulations, and her physical attacks barely scratched its hide. But she couldn't give up, Gritting her teeth, she tightened her grip on her weapon and prepared for another attack,

As she charged forward, the beast met her head-on, its massive claws slashing out with deadly precision. Sayako barely managed to dodge, the beast's claws grazing her side and ripping through her kimono, She winced as pain shot through her, blood seeping from the fresh wound, But there was no time to stop, The beast was relentless, and it was clear that it would not stop until she was defeated,

Desperation fueled her next move.
Sayako Lashed out with her blade, aiming for the beast's throat, but the attack was too slow. The beast dodged and countered with a powerful swipe of its claws, striking her with enough force to send her flying across the cavern. She hit the ground hard, skidding across the rocky surface before coming to a stop against the wall. { Beta reader: if that was me you'd be getting invitations to my funeral right about now }

Pain radiated through her body, every breath a struggle as she tried to push herself up, Her vision blurred, dark spots dancing before her eyes as blood trickled from the deep gash in her side. She was Losing strength fast, and the thunder beast showed no signs of stopping.
