The shrine, once a sanctuary of peace and calm, was a place where even the rustling leaves seemed to whisper in reverence to the great Sukuna. however, that serenity was destined to be short-lived. The universe had other plans, and those plans were spelled Y-O-R-O-Z-U.
Yorozu didn't just enter the shrine- she stormed in, obliterating any semblance of tranquility like a wrecking ball through a glass house. The doors flew open with a bang that sent birds scattering from the trees outside, and the maids, who had just finished up arranging Sayako's room, exchanged knowing glances that practically screamed, 'oh boy, here comes the trouble'
With eyes blazing like a woman possessed (which, let's be honest, she kind of was), Yorozu zeroed in on her target: sukuna. Her gaze was a terrifying combination of obsession, love, and a touch of madness that would make even the most hardened warrior break out in a cold sweat.
"Ohhh, sukuna-samaaaaa!" Yorozu's voice rang out, dripping with a melodrama that could put any kabuki performance to shame. She charged at him with all the subtlety of a bull in a china shop, and before anyone could react, she had launched herself at Sukuna, clinging to him like a starfish that had found its new favorite rock. And by clinging, I mean she had wrapped herself around him with a grip so tight it could defy the laws of physics. Arms, legs, and whatever remaining dignity she had left were all engaged in the human equivalent of a boa constrictor hug.
Sukuna stood there, unmoving, his expression one of deadpan resignation as he sighed deeply- a man who had clearly endured this chaotic embrace more times than he cared to count. "Yorozu," he grumbled, his voice laced with the exasperation of a parent dealing with a particularly hyperactive child. He made a half-hearted attempt to pry her off, but it was like trying to detach a particularly stubborn leech. She wasn't going anywhere.
"Oh, sukuna-sama, I missed you soooo much!" Yorozu cooed, her voice dripping with sugary sweetness as she nuzzled against his broad shoulder, as if she was trying to merge into him like some kind of love-struck amoeba. "Did you miss me? Of course you did! Who wouldn't miss me? I knew you'd be here, and I just had to come see my precious sukuna-sama!" { Beta reader: ok what in the world is a fucking amoeba ??? Wait I'ma google it }
Beta reader: I regret doing what I did because wtf is that
Sukuna's eye twitched- a small but telling sign that he was very much contemplating his life choices at this moment. The maids, sensing an opportunity to inject some much-needed amusement into their day, exchanged a mischievous glance. It was as if they were communicating telepathically, concocting a plan that would make this situation even more ridiculous.
"Oh, Lady Yorozu," one of the maids called out in a tone so saccharine it could cause cavities, "did you know? Sukuna-sama brought a very beautiful woman here earlier today..."
