After a few solid weeks of resting on her futon, Sayako finally felt like herself again. Fully healed and practically buzzing with energy, she was ready to take on the world- or at least, the world within Sukuna's shrine. The maids, relieved to see her back on her feet, were more than happy to indulge her whims. Little did they know that Sayako's boredom would soon turn into a whirlwind of mischief.

It all started innocently enough. Sayako, with nothing better to do, began to notice how meticulously arranged everything in the shrine was, particularly in Sukuna's private study. The artifacts, ancient scrolls, and even the inkpots were all perfectly aligned, almost as if they were afraid of their owner's wrath. The temptation was too much. With a sly grin, Sayako gently nudged a jade figurine just slightly off-center. The maids, who had been dusting nearby, froze and exchanged nervous glances. { Beta reader: that's seriously so annoying }

"Do you think he'll notice?" one of them whispered, her eyes were widened

"Oh, he'll notice," Sayako replied with a chuckle. "The question is, how long will it take before he can't stand it?"

The answer came sooner than expected. Sukuna, passing by his study later that day, paused at the entrance, his eyes narrowing as he scanned the room. He didn't say a word, but the maids, peeking from around the corner, watched as he slowly walked to the figurine and adjusted it with a huff, spending an unnecessary amount of time making sure everything was aligned just right. { Beta reader: yes nice }

"Success!" Sayako whispered triumphantly, the maids suppressing giggles behind her.

Emboldened by their first victory, Sayako and her band of merry troublemakers set their sights on something bigger: Sukuna's throne room. Under the cover of night, they sneaked in, carefully placing a handmade flower crown atop his imposing throne. The crown was an absurd contrast- a delicate ring of daisies and wildflowers perched atop the dark, foreboding seat of power. { Beta reader: lol wth, king of curses?? More like pretty pink fully unicorn head princess LMAO }

The next morning, Sukuna's yell echoed through the shrine, sending the maids scattering in every direction like startled birds. Sayako, however, was undeterred. She couldn't stop laughing, imagining the look on his face when he discovered the crown.

But the real pièce de résistance came when Sayako decided to up the ante. After several days of minor pranks, she instructed the maids to move her entire futon- where she had been resting- into the grand hall, right in the middle of the room. They even draped Sukuna's favorite blanket over it for good measure. { Beta reader: since when did you learn french }

The sight of Sukuna's face when he walked into the grand hall to find Sayako lounging on the futon, surrounded by giggling maids, was priceless. For a moment, it looked as though he might actually explode. His crimson eyes blazed, his jaw clenched so tightly that it looked painful.

"What... is this?" he demanded.

Sayako merely stretched languidly, as if she were a cat sunning herself, and offered a sweet smile. "Oh, just a little redecorating. You know, to liven up the place."

The maids' giggles turned to barely suppressed snorts as they watched Sukuna's patience visibly disintegrate. The mighty King of Curses was not accustomed to such blatant defiance, especially not within his own domain. Yet, Sayako seemed completely unfazed.
