Sayako tiptoed into Sukuna's room, her smirk barely contained as she hugged a small cloth bag close to her chest. Dawn had barely crept over the horizon, casting a soft glow through the sliding doors, but Sukuna was still asleep- or at least, that's what Sayako thought.
The rhythmic rise and fall of his chest told her he was in deep slumber. 'Ha! I beat him to it today. He's gonna be so smug about it, but not today. Today's mine.' She tiptoed forward, all but gloating in her silent victory.
Just as she was about to set down her bag and begin unwrapping the bandages, two red eyes snapped open and locked onto hers with the sharpness of a sword's edge.
Sayako froze mid-step, caught like a cat with a fish in its mouth. "Well, good morning, sukuna!" she chirped, trying to recover as if she hadn't just been tiptoeing like a thief in his shrine.
Sukuna stared at her for a long moment, suspicion heavy in his gaze. His voice was still rough from sleep, but it carried its usual gruffness as he grumbled and sat up "You're carrying a bag." (Y'all I bet sukuna's sleepy voice is hot as hell) { beta reader: gojo hotter }
Sayako smiled, all too sweetly. "Wow, what an excellent observation. We're off to a great start today!" She waggled her fingers in the air, like he'd just won a prize for noticing something as obvious as a bag in her hand. She set it down beside the usual bandages and balms as if it were no big deal.
Sukuna, of course, was not easily distracted. He wasn't fooled by her nonchalance. His eyes flickered to the bag again. "What's in it?"
"Oh, nothing important!" she said with a grin, reaching for his arm to begin unwrapping the bandages. "Anyway, how're you feeling? Still alive? Not cursed into oblivion overnight? Great! Let's get these off, shall we? Can't have you bleeding all the over the place"
Sukuna didn't budge. His suspicion only deepened. "What's in the bag, Sayako?"
She rolled her eyes, waving him off. "You know, some top-secret business, I Could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you."
"That's comforting," Sukuna muttered, his patience wearing thin as she began unwinding the bandages. Her movements were deft and practiced, but every so often, her eyes darted back to the bag as if daring him to peek. This only made him more curious. {beta reader: she wants him too look its so obvious }
Sukuna wasn't one to let things go so easily. "Sayako."
"Hmm?"
"The bag."
"What about it?"
"What's in it?"
Sayako huffed, wiping a damp cloth over his freshly unbandaged skin. "You're so nosy today, Sukuna. What's with the sudden curiosity? I thought you were more of the 'I'll just destroy anything that annoys me' type."
Every time he opened his mouth to ask about the bag, she interrupted with random nonsense.
"So, the weather's been nice lately, hasn't it?"
"Do you think cursed spirits dream?"
"If you could be any vegetable, what would it be?"
