After the whirlwind proposal, Akito decided it was time for some quiet, just the two of them. He had planned this for week, buying a small, cozy house nestled within the Yurechi clan's city's village, hidden away from all the commotion. It wasn't extravagant, but it was perfect for them.
When they arrived, Yuna's eyes lit up the moment she saw it. The house had a warm, welcoming glow. The walls were made of smooth, light wood, and the roof was covered in moss that blended beautifully with the surroundings. A small garden lined the path to the front door, and the scent of jasmine filled the air. It was simple, but it felt like home.
Yuna rushed inside the moment Akito opened the door. She wandered around excitedly, admiring every detail. "It's perfect!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with joy. "Look at all this space! I can keep my bow and arrows right here!" She gestured toward a corner near the window where the sunlight streamed in. "And there's enough room for us to train, too!'
Akito watched her with a soft smile, leaning against the doorway. The way her face lit up with happiness made his heart swell. Seeing her like this, so free, so full of life, it reminded him of why he loved her so much.
Yuna kept talking, her words spilling out in a rapid flow of excitement. "We could even plant more flowers outside! Maybe some herbs too, for cooking! And the view from the window.... Akito, it's amazing!"
Her laughter filled the room, and Akito's gaze followed her every move. She was radiant, practically glowing with joy, and it made something stir inside him. He had always admired her strength, her honesty, and her fierce determination. But now, seeing her so happy, it was like something deeper ignited within him.
Before he knew it, Akito moved toward her, his steps deliberate and slow. Yuna was still talking, oblivious to the shift in his demeanor, as she examined a small shelf near the window. "And we can-"
Suddenly, her back met the wall with a soft thud as Akito pinned her there, his hands bracing on either side of her. Yuna's breath hitched in her throat, her wide eyes locking onto his. "Akito?" Her voice was soft, confused, but curious.
Akito said nothing, his crimson eyes burning with a quiet intensity. His heart pounded, but this time, it wasn't out of nervousness. It was something stronger... something bold. Without another word, he leaned in, capturing her lips in a fierce, passionate kiss.
Yuna gasped against his mouth, momentarily taken aback by his sudden move. But within seconds, she melted into the kiss, her arms winding around his neck as she kissed him back just as fiercely. The world outside disappeared, the only sound was the soft, shared breaths between them as their lips moved together.
Akito deepened the kiss, pressing her further into the wall, his fingers tangling in her short red hair. Yuna's hands tightened around his neck, pulling him closer, completely lost in the moment. The kiss was intense, like all the emotions they'd been holding back were finally spilling out in this one perfect moment. His lips moved against hers with a mix of tenderness and raw need, making her feel like she was floating.
When they finally pulled away, both of them were breathless, their foreheads resting against each other. Yuna's face was flushed, her green eyes wide and dazed, while Akito's chest heaved from the intensity of it all.
She blinked a few times, still trying to catch her breath. "What... what was that?" she whispered, her voice barely audible.
Akito smirked, his hand gently brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "Just... couldn't help myself," he murmured, his voice husky. "You were talking so much, and I realized... I wanted to make you speechless for once."
Yuna stared at him, her cheeks heating even more as she let out a breathless laugh. "You definitely succeeded," she whispered, her fingers tracing the edge of his jaw.
Akito's grin softened, his eyes filled with warmth as he leaned in to kiss her again, this time slower, more tender. He was savoring the moment, the feel of her lips on his, the way her body fit perfectly against his. It was a kiss that spoke of love, of promises for the future, and of a life they would build together in this little house.
When they finally broke apart again, Yuna rested her head against his chest, still catching her breath. "You really went all out, didn't you?" she teased, her voice soft but full of affection.
Akito chuckled, his arms wrapping around her protectively. "Only for you."
They stood there for a moment, wrapped in each other's arms, the warmth of the house surrounding them. The evening light filtered through the windows, casting a soft golden glow on them. It was peaceful, perfect... just the two of them, in their new home, where they could finally be alone.
Yuna smiled against his chest, her heart full. "I love this place, akito. I love us"
Akito pressed a kiss to top of her head. His heart swelling with happiness "I love you, yuna. Always..."
"I love you too, akito..." Yuna muttered
