THE SCENE BEFORE your eyes was both terrifying and awe-striking. The sky was tearing apart and shattering like pieces of glass, thin golden strings barely held the shattering sky. It was clear that Azure was no longer able to control the Jade Emperor's powers anymore.
You quickly snapped out of your thoughts and gather the pieces of the scroll, connecting them together and rolling it up. Just as you finish, Wukong rushed to you, "Y/N, the scroll." He spoke up and held out his hand to you. You looked at him with a hint of concern, but you handed him the scroll nonetheless. Monkey King smiled and took it before summoning his cloud to go there. You quickly stopped him, "Wait, I'm going with you." You told him stubbornly and took a step toward him. Wukong sighed and turned to face you, "No, Peaches. You have to stay here. Macaque had told me that you're not feeling good, so stay here. We will handle the rest." He told you before hopping on his cloud.
"What? I'm flamboyantly alright! I'm going!"
"Y/N, I'm doing this for your sake. So stay here."
With that being said, he flew away, leaving you with the little monkeys. You clenched your fists tightly and gritted your teeth, "I'm not listening to him." You mumbled and were about to chase after him, but you stopped when you heard footsteps behind you and your gripped your swords in case someone attacked you. When you turned around, you saw an injured Ne Zha struggling to walk, "Miss Y/N, I have to go there. The Jade Emperor's powers is out of control." He informed you, holding his side in pain.
Ne Zha still didn't fully heal yet and taking him to the battlefield would probably put him at risk. However, he knows how to deal with such an outrageous power like the Jade Emperor's. Making your mind, you nodded your head, "Alright, let's get going." As you said that, you swiftly picked Ne Zha up and put him on your back, "Hold on tight, my Lotus Prince!" And just like that, you ran as fast as you possibly could. The nausea would return everyday now and then, but you pushed it aside and focused on taking Ne Zha to the mountain to hopefully get the Jade Emperor's powers under control.
Suddenly, the sky started to piece together and return to normal, "This is not good. If Azure was suffering to contain the Jade Emperor's powers, this could only mean that he used everything to put everything back." The Lotus Prince spoke up, looking at the sky. As you ran, questions raised in your head, "What do you mean? Is he dying or something?" You asked him, nearing the destroyed mountain.
