Freya had woken up when they reached Arkadia. Abby had rushed outside when she heard Sinclair and raven shouting for her.
" It's Freya, she's injured " raven shouted when she opened the back doors of the Rover. Lincoln jumped in and picked up Freya from the floor of the vehicle. Her eyes were open, but they were staring off into the abyss.
" What happened? " Abby asked as she walked in front of Lincoln to the medical room.
" She was stabbed and the explosion hit her the hardest " Raven said.
" Freya! " Johnathan yelled as he rushed through the halls to his sister. In any other circumstances she would have turned her head to look at him, yet this time her head just kept dangling back on Lincoln's arm.
" Find Bellamy " Abby told Johnathan who nodded before running off. Entering the medical room Lincoln placed Freya on the bed where Abby pulled her shirt up to look at the wound.
" It was poisoned " Abby verified. " It looks like the poison is in her blood stream " Abby cursed under her breath as she finalized the severity of the situation
" What does that mean " Bellamy asked when he entered the room. His eyes scanned Freya's form and gritted his teeth. Blood stained her entire body, cuts all over her visual skin, and dirt smeared everywhere.
" It means, if we wait any longer it could kill the baby " Abby said looking at Bellamy who tore his eyes from Freya's form to look at Abby. " It's in her blood as of right now Bellamy "
" She's too weak to give birth right now " Raven pointed out, looking between the two
" Well have to cut the baby out " Abby said. Johnathan placed a hand over his mouth as tears filled his eyes. He never thought that one day he'd have to see his sister in such a state that she couldn't even give birth to her own child.
" do whatever you have to, just save them both " Bellamy answered, looking down. Octavia then entered the room and froze when she seen Freya on the bed.
" No. No no no " Octavia didn't want to believe it.
" Let's get her ready for surgery then " Abby pulled on some gloves as well as Jackson.
Tony entered the room and slowly walked over to Bellamy's side. Bellamy looked down in guilt as the father watched his daughter be wheeled off to a separate room.
" What. Happened? " Tony asked once Abby and Jackson had wheeled Freya off.
" A grounder attack mount weather " Sinclair spoke. Tears were falling from his eyes from where he stood.
" And no one was there to save my daughter! " Tony yelled out. Anger coursing through his veins as the tears fell down his eyes falling off chin and onto the floor
" I am so sorry " Raven cried out, looking down to the floor. Tony's shoulders shook as he sat on the floor, loud sobs coming from his throat.
Bellamy let his tears fall as well, looking up at the ceiling as he did so. He felt responsible for what had happened. He felt as though he was to blame for everything and he hated it. He hated feeling as though he was failing the one person who needed him the most.
It was about two hours that the group had waited for any news. Octavia had cuddled into Lincoln's side as he rubbed her shoulders. She was anxious. She didn't want to lose her best friend nor her niece or nephew.
Raven had sat on the bed with her head in her hands with her leg shaking with nerves. She felt responsible as well for what had occurred. If she had just grabbed Freya from being so close to the building, she would have been fine.
Johnathan was pacing the room as he clenched and unclenched his fists. He was trying not to cry. He wanted to think happy thoughts. But he also knew from the way she looked before going into surgery, there was a small chance she was going to be okay.
The door opened and Abby and Jackson walked in. Except, both of them held a small bundle in their arms. Their faces were grim, but Abby was smiling at the bundle on her arms.
" Abby- " Bellamy spoke catching Abby's attention. She walked to Bellamy and gently handed the bundle over to him. He looked down and let more tears fall at the small blue eyes that looked up at him.
" She had twins " Jackson said as he handed the bundle in his arms to Tony who smiled through his tears at the bundle.
" Is she? " Bellamy couldn't finish his words.
" Uh- " Abby took a step back as she looked down at her hands that were still covered in blood
" Please tell us she's okay! " Octavia begged.
" The poison had reached her heart " Abby let out a small sob as she said that, looking up to meet Bellamy's eyes. " She's awake, but doesn't have long " Abby spoke.
" Can we see her? " Tony asked with hope.
When Abby nodded, Bellamy and Tony were the first to leave the room. They walked to the room Freya was in and entered. Freya was laid on the bed, her eyes glazed over and her pale skin. She turned and looked at the two men and pulled a small smile
" Oh baby! " Tony cried. He took a seat next to her bed and placed his hands in her knotted hair.
" Hi dad "
Tony let out a sob as he placed a kiss on her forehand. " I love you so much " Tony sobbed onto her skin. Freya lifted her hand and ran her finger over his arm. He took the signal and shifted so she could see the baby in his arms.
" You had a boy and a girl " Tony said and Freya let out a sob. Her eyes then met Bellamy's from over Tony's shoulder and smiled. Tony then stood and left the couple to be alone.
" I'm so fucking sorry " Bellamy said when he took Tony's seat. Freya's bottom lip quivered as she nodded her head
" It's okay bell, " She said with a small smile. " Just promise me one thing "
" Anything "
Freya searched his eyes for a solid minute " You won't ever, let anyone or anything harm our babies. That you'll love them like you loved me " Freya cried
" I promise "
" What are you going to name them? " Freya looked at the little girl in his arms and ran her finger through the small hairs on her head.
" Elias and Aaliyah. That's what you wanted right? " Bellamy looked at her with the pain of his words.
" Yeah " Freya said. Her eyes then went soft when she looked up at Bellamy. The two looked into each other's eyes as her slowly began to lose their color, turning into a dull grey.
With a sob, Bellamy placed a soft kiss on her cold lips.
Although it's over for Freya, it's not over for Bellamy and the babies. I'ma continue this story with Bellamy and the twins, just no Freya. So this story will continue but with Bellamy only.
