"I now pronounce you husband and wife." the officiant said with a warm smile.
[THREE WEEKS BEFORE THIS MOMENT UNFOLDED] ^_________^
Oh, Jinwoo, you should have told me earlier! I would have come sooner if I had known you were sick. I feel like such a bad friend," the man in his mid-seventies said with a sad expression.
"I'm fine, Donghae. It's okay; coughs you didn't know I was sick, so it's not your fault," Jinwoo, his friend, replied with difficulty.
The two best friends Jinwoo and Donghae had been close since childhood. They had been separated when one of them left their village to start a business in Seoul, but now he was back visiting his old friend.
"No, it's you who's always there for me when I need help. I'm here for you now, so just tell me what you want, and I'll do anything," Donghae said.
"Don't worry, my friend. I don't want anything. I'm just concerned about my granddaughter. You know she lost her parents when she was only five, and once I'm gone, she'll have no one who loves her," he said, tears in his eyes.
" Don't say nonsense you're not going anywhere and for your granddaughter you don't have to worry about her" Donghae said with confidence
"what are you trying to say" he said with confused face
"I told you before that she will marry my grandson"
"But---"
"No more buts. Trust me, she will be happy with us," Donghae interrupted, pleading.
"But she's only eighteen. How can she marry now when she wants to continue her studies?" he said, guilt in his voice.
"Oh, Jinwoo, you're overthinking. She can continue her studies after marriage. I'll set the date; they'll be married in a few weeks. No more discussion," Donghae said with a soft smile.

Phone Ringing...
The phone continues ringing. The owner of the phone, clearly frustrated, steps out of the house and answers.
On the Call
"Why are you calling me non-stop, Mom? Don't you know today is my grand wedding?" he says mockingly.
"I know, my son. I'm just worried. You never wanted this marriage; your grandfather forced you into it," she replied.
"Oh, come on! Mom, I'm not a child. You don't need to worry. And as for Grandpa, you know he won't give me a penny if I don't marry this village girl."
"But don't worry. I just need to wait five years. Once that time is up, I'll divorce her and be free," he said with a smirk on his face.
No one noticed the blonde girl with the beautiful hair cascading over her shoulders had been listening all conversation. Her plain white gown suited her perfectly, but only her grandfather and his friend seemed to appreciate her presence. As she overheard the painful truth that her soon-to-be husband was already planning to divorce her- her tears began to flow uncontrollably. It was supposed to be her wedding day, a day she had dreamed of with happiness, but instead, she learned that her fiancé was being forced into marrying her and had no desire to be with her. All she had ever wanted was a peaceful life, but it seemed that happiness would remain forever out of reach.
He hung up the phone just as his grandpa walked out.
"Oh, son, what are you doing here? The ceremony will start soon," the older man said.
"Don't worry, Grandpa, I'm not going anywhere," he replied with a bored expression.
Nobody knows what the future holds. Will Taehyung accept her, or will he divorce her after five years?
