"Kim Taehyung, do you take Park Ava to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I DO" he spoke with a blank expression, his eyes betraying no emotion.

Taehyung was on his way to the office early in the morning, still shaken from a phone call he received an hour earlier while sleeping at Ava's place. The call revealed that someone had leaked his personal information, and the product he had been developing for months had already been released. Anger boiled within him as he processed the betrayal. Without a word, he rushed home to shower and change into his suit before heading to the company. The remnants of their shared moments lingering in the air.
Taehyung’s mind raced as he drove. The betrayal stung deeply; someone he trusted had undermined him. As he parked, he took a deep breath, forcing himself to focus.
Inside the office, he could feel the tension in the air. Colleagues whispered and avoided eye contact. Taehyung headed straight for his office, determined to confront the situation head-on.
His computer screen blinked with notifications—a flurry of emails and messages about the leak. He clenched his jaw, fury fueling his resolve. He had to uncover the source of this betrayal and reclaim his work.
Gathering his thoughts, he prepared for the day ahead, ready to fight for what was rightfully his.
"Who is the one?" His voice was cold and demanding, sending shivers through everyone in the room.
"Are you deaf? I asked a question!"
One of his trusted employees finally spoke. "We don’t know, sir."
"So what are you all doing?" he shouted, fury evident in his tone.
"What about you, Miss Lee? You were always by my side. Tell me who did this."
She trembled under his gaze. "Sir, I haven’t been here for a week, so I don’t know—"
"I don’t want to hear 'I don’t know.' I want a name. Someone leaked my personal information, and you all are supposed to know about it. So it’s clear: one of you is responsible."
His voice dropped to a dangerous whisper. "I’m asking you for the last time. If I find out on my own, it won’t be good for any of you."
"Sir, there’s one more person involved in this project," another employee interjected. Taehyung turned to him, waiting for clarification.
"Miss Kim Ava, sir." Hearing her name, his eyes softened, memories of their last encounter flooding back—he had left her home without a word. What must she think of him now? His mind was racing.
"Yes, sir. She’s been on this project for a month. It would have been easy for her to access the information—"
"Before you throw accusations, do you have any proof, or are you just talking nonsense?"
"But sir, she isn’t here either."
Taehyung fell silent, realizing she might be absent due to their last incident. Yet, she was the last person with his team. He needed her present to clear her name.
"Miss Lee, call Ava to the office immediately," Taehyung commanded, his tone icy.
"Sir, I found something," a hacker who had been tracing the leak piped up. Taehyung’s interest piqued as he moved to the hacker.
"The information was leaked from one of the computers in this office," the hacker reported. "We can identify the person easily."
The room was thick with tension, everyone waiting for the next move.
"I’ve traced the leak. The name is Ava." hacker’s voice crackle through the room.
His heart sank. Ava—his first love, the one who made him smile during the most stressful days. He struggled to process the betrayal, disbelief swirling within him. Could the woman he had been falling for, the one he thought he knew, really be capable of such a thing?
"Are you sure?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
"Absolutely. I found evidenc" the hacker replied. "Money transfers, suspicious accounts. It’s all there."
Panic hit Taehyung as he pushed away from his desk. He felt sick thinking about confronting her, but he needed answers. As he walked toward Ava's workspace, each step felt heavier.
When he reached her desk, his breath hitched. The documents were laid out, stark against the polished wood—bank statements showing large sums, transactions that seemed far too suspicious.
Could she have been using him all along? Was her kindness just a way to get what she wanted? The memories of their laughter, late-night talks, and the way she looked at him now felt ruined.
He stood frozen struggling with the betrayal. As doubt settled in, he couldn’t help but wonder: Had she ever truly cared for him?
Taehyung stood paralyzed, his gaze locked on Ava as she entered the office, a stack of papers in her hands. The moment their eyes met, concern washed over her face, but he couldn’t bring himself to speak immediately. His heart raced as he absorbed the sight of her—her soft features, the warmth he once cherished now tainted by betrayal.
Finally, he broke the silence, each word like a shard of glass. "Just leave this place and never show your face here again."
Ava’s expression shifted from concern to shock, her eyes widening. "What are you talking about?" Her voice trembled as she struggled to grasp the situation. She had just learned that everyone was blaming her for what had happened, and confusion flooded her mind. "I haven’t done anything!" he could see the tears welling up. How could he think she was responsible?
He wanted to believe her, but the evidence loomed large in his mind. "Then explain the money, the transactions. It points directly to you!" His voice cracked, revealing the pain beneath his harsh exterior.
She took a step closer, desperation in her eyes. "I don’t know what you’re talking about! I would never betray you or the company! Please, you have to trust me!"
He wanted to comfort her as the tears spilled down her cheeks. But the betrayal cut too deep. "Trust? How can I trust someone who would do this?"
The weight of his words hung heavy in the air. Ava’s shoulders shook with silent sobs, twisting his heart at the sight. Love battled with the anger and pain swelling inside him, each emotion fighting for control.
"Taehyung," she whispered, her voice breaking. "Please, don’t do this. I care about you more than you know. You have to believe me!" Hearing his name on her lips for the first time sent a rush of warmth through him, but the moment felt too heavy. He turned away, struggling with his emotions. Deep down, he wanted to ask her more, to hear her side, but the fear of being hurt again held him back.
"Just go," he said again, each word feeling final. Ava’s tears fell freely, and it hurt him to see her like this, but he had to stay strong to protect himself—even if it felt like breaking his own heart.
