The evening sky glowed with soft pinks and oranges, creating a calm atmosphere. But Taehyung's heart was restless. He was heading home from the office, worried about recovering from recent troubles and finding out who blamed Ava.

Their relationship felt strange. They lived together but barely spoke, exchanging only a few words. Ava often stayed in her room, while Taehyung worked late and usually ordered food for dinner. Today, he got home early, hoping the beautiful weather might help them connect and ease the distance between them.

As he stepped into the quiet house, He knew she was in her room as usual. He knocked on her door and heard a soft "Come in." When he opened the door, he found Ava sitting on the bed, a book in her hand. She must be reading a new one, he thought; she always loved to read.

"Hey," he said with a small smile. She greeted him back, Taehyung sat down at the edge of the bed.

"So, how's work?" she asked.

"It was hectic, as usual. I’m not sure how much more I can take,"he replied, tiredness evident on his face.

She fell silent, She wanted to comfort him but feared remembering the last time he had doubted her. The fear that he might think she betrayed him still lingered in her mind. She felt helpless without proof of her innocence.

"Well, forget that. Tell me about your day," he said, trying to break her thoughts and lighten the mood.

"Nothing special, just reading this," she said, showing him the book in her hand.

"Oh, I was thinking maybe we could go to dinner. The weather’s perfect for a night out."

"Dinner? Isn’t it a bit early for that?" she said, raising an eyebrow, "how about you freshen up, and I’ll make us some coffee? We can go out later," she suggested looked into his eyes and smiled lightly.

"Coffee sounds great, but I really think we should enjoy it outside. It’s too nice to stay in," he said,

She laughed lightly, the tension easing. "Alright, you win! Let’s have our coffee outside, then."

"Perfect! I’ll be quick," he said, heading toward the door.

She chuckled softly and nodded in agreement, happy to see him so excited.

A gentle breeze rustled the leaves, and the sweet scent of flowers filled the air. As the sun set, it was a beautiful evening, wrapping everything in a warm, golden glow.

They sat together in a long chair in the garden, coffee mugs in their hands, enjoying the moment in silence.

Taehyung cleared his throat. "You’ve been really quiet lately," he said, his brow furrowing with concern. "Is something bothering you?"

Ava stared at the sky, avoiding his gaze. "It’s just…I’ve just been thinking about your company," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "You work so hard, and I worry it might all go to waste."

"Hey, look at me," he said, gently holding her hand. She finally met his eyes. "Everything is going to be okay. You don’t need to stress yourself."

Tears welled in her eyes, and he frowned at the sight, he gently brushing a tear away with his thumb.

"Oh, Ava, don’t cry. Those beautiful eyes shouldn’t be filled with tears."

Suddenly, she let out a shaky breath and burst into tears. Taehyung wrapped his arms around her, holding her into a comforting embrace. "It’s okay," he whispered, gently rubbing her back. "I’m here."

After a few minutes, she collected herself, and they broke the hug.

He held her chin, looking deep into her teary one, "You’re scared, aren’t you?" he asked, his tone gentle. "I know I messed up before, and I’m really sorry. But I promise, I’ll never hurt you again. 'Mi flor'."

Ava didn’t fully understand the Spanish nickname, but the warmth in his voice made her smile. She nodded as their eyes locked, in that moment.
