In the early morning, Taehyung sat alone at his desk in the quiet office. He stared at his phone with a slight pout, his wide, attentive eyes fixed on the screen. His fingers drummed lightly against the armrest as he waited for a response from Ava, who he had texted five minutes earlier, asking her to come to his office.

Just as he began to fidget, a message popped up, breaking the silence.

“I’ll be there in five.”

Taehyung’s expression brightened instantly. His shoulders relaxed, and a small smile curved at his lips. Rising from his chair, he glanced out the window, his anticipation palpable.

Taehyung wore a brown corduroy suit with a matching jacket and pants, paired with a simple white t-shirt. His hair, styled into a bold, fluffy poodle cut, swept across his forehead, giving him an effortlessly striking appearance. He waited, eager for her arrival.

As he was lost in his thoughts, his phone suddenly rang

As he was lost in his thoughts, his phone suddenly rang. He glanced at the screen and picked it up.

**Phone Conversation:**

**"Hey, buddy! What's up?"**

**"Hello, Jungkook! How are you guys doing?"**

**"We’re doing great. How’s everything with you?"**

**"All good. So, when are you coming over, Jungkook?"**

**"Come on, do you really miss me that much?"**

**"No, I just have a ton of work and no help. It’s a mess."**

**"But you’ve got a secretary to help out."**

**"She’s gone more than she’s here, and when she is around, she messes things up."**

**"I’m married recently, you know. Can’t you give me a bit more time?"**

**"I’ve already given you two months. At this rate, it’ll be three. How much space do you need, Jungkook? Forever? If that’s the case, I might as well start looking for—"**

**"Alright, alright, I get it. Just one more week, and I promise I’ll be there."**

**"This is your last chance. I’m serious."**

**"Got it, Boss."**

**Both chuckle.**

**"Kook, where are you? Dinner’s ready!"** a voice called from behind Jungkook's phone.

**"Ah, I’ve gotta run. Mia’s calling. Can you believe she cooked tonight? You know her cooking is… well, let’s just say it’s a bit hit or miss."**

**"Oh, the great Jeon Jungkook compromising on food—how did this happen?"**

**"Hey, I’ve got to support her. She’s my wife  now. But don’t worry, I’ve got a backup plan. I’ll grab something good after dinner."

Taehyung laughed

**"Alright, catch you later."**

**"Okay, bye. See you, buddy. Take care of yourself and don't overload with work."**

**"Bye, Jungkook. See you soon."** Taehyung smiled as he ended the call.

[AN: Jungkook is in Brasília, so it's currently nighttime there]

At that moment, he heard a knock at the door. He looked up, took a deep breath, and said, "Come in."

The door opened, revealing the person he had been waiting for. She exuded elegance in a sheer white top adorned with black polka dots, paired with a black high-waisted pencil skirt. Her blonde hair fell softly to her shoulders, and her light makeup enhanced her natural beauty.

As she entered his office, their eyes locked in a shared moment of silent connection

As she entered his office, their eyes locked in a shared moment of silent connection. The world outside seemed to pause as they exchanged a knowing glance. He cleared his throat, breaking the spell.

"Good morning. You're a bit late today," he said, his gaze lingering warmly on her.

She was so entranced by his presence that his words barely penetrated her thoughts. "Morning," she greeted, her voice soft and lingering. "Actually, I was on my way, but a coworker stopped me. We were chatting for a bit," she continued, her gaze never leaving him..

He offered a smile that seemed to light up the room. "How about a coffee to start the day?"

She returned his smile, feeling a flutter in her chest. "Sure" she said, and stepped out of the office to get the coffee, her heart a little lighter than before.

[AN: I know he doesn't like coffee much, but since he's a coffee brand ambassador, I thought it’d be fun to imagine him trying some coffee]
