As the days unfolded, Taehyung and Ava found themselves drawn to each other like characters in a fairytale. They began to spend every moment they could together, working side by side and sharing deep conversations. Each day felt special, filled with laughter and understanding.

After long days, they often went out for dinner, enjoying meals where they talked about their dreams and shared stories. Their favorite part was always dessert—sipping hot chocolate or sharing a big bowl of strawberry ice cream.

With each outing and every shared laugh, Taehyung and Ava grew closer, discovering a connection that felt magical. They cherished their little adventures, knowing that these moments were building a beautiful bond between them.

On that day, they waited for the rain to stop before heading home, but it looked like it might continue for a while. Realizing it was getting late, they decided to go anyway.

When they reached Ava's place, Taehyung parked and handed her an umbrella before she stepped out into the rain. Ava didn’t grab an umbrella; she just stared at him.

"What, aren't you leaving? It’s late?" he asked.

"No, I’m not letting you go in this heavy rain." she replied softly.

"I’ll be fine. Look, we’ve arrived at your apartment, so I’ll head home smoothly," he said politely.

She shook her head. "No, you’re not going alone. We’ll wait until the rain stops."

He sighed, "We’ve already waited an hour at the office, and it looks like the rain isn’t stopping anytime soon." he replied

Again, she shook her head.

"Okay then, what do you want? Should we stay in the car?" he asked, his tone polite, curious about her stubbornness.

"I never suggested that. Let’s go to my apartment and wait there," she said, her gaze steady on his.

"But you don’t usually let strangers into your house," he teased, a mischievous smile creeping onto his face.

She glared at him, then looked down at her lap.

"Alright, fine. We can go, but you have to make a good coffee?" he said with a laugh.

She smiled, meeting his gaze again and nodding in agreement.

As they stepped out of the car, Taehyung held the umbrella above them, his other arm wrapping protectively around Ava’s shoulder, drawing her close. The rain fell softly around them, but Ava barely noticed; her eyes were fixed on Taehyung, completely entranced by his warmth and charm.

In her distraction, she didn’t see the stone in her path. Just as she was about to stumble, Taehyung caught her.

"Be careful, Ava," he said softly, his gaze locking onto hers with a mix of concern and something deeper.

Ava’s heart raced as she nodded, feeling a rush of warmth at his touch. In that moment, surrounded by the rain, she realized she was falling—completely and irrevocably—in love with him.

They reached the door, and Ava opened the gate, switching on the lights. Taehyung glanced around her small apartment, which had a single bedroom and a living area connected to the kitchen. The walls were old, and the furniture showed signs of wear. He couldn't help but feel concerned for her living in such conditions.

"You take the couch; I'll be back with a towel," she said, drying her clothes with her hands as she headed to her room.

She returned a moment later, handing him the towel.

"You need water?" she asked. He shook his head, drying his hair.

"Okay, if you need anything, just call. I’ll be in the kitchen," she said, heading toward the kitchen.

As she left, he pulled out his phone to scroll through it. Half an hour later, feeling bored, he stood up and walked to the kitchen.

He watched her with a soft smile as she focused on preparing the noodles, the side dishes already beautifully arranged. She had changed from her office outfit into comfy pajamas, her hair swept up into a messy bun, revealing the delicate curve of her neck. A few strands fell into her face, and she tucked them back with the back of her hand, completely absorbed in her task, She didn’t notice him standing there, watching her with a quiet admiration.

In that moment, he felt a warmth spread through him, realizing how much he loved these simple moments.

He cleared his throat as she looked up at him, a small smile forming on her lips. "Oh, what are you doing here? Do you need something?" she asked.

"No," he replied, shaking his head and smiling back. "I was just curious why it’s taking you so long to make coffee. It looks like you’re planning a dinner."

She chuckled nervously. "Well, I thought it wouldn’t be good for you to drink coffee all the time, so I decided to make some ramen. It’s dinner time, and you must be hungry."

"Starving, actually. All the work at the office makes me ravenous," he said, running a hand through his hair. "But you really don’t have to do that; we can order something."

"In this weather?" she asked, trying to hold back her laughter. "And besides, I’m not that bad at cooking."

"I never said you were," he replied, looking into her eyes. "Even if it’s not great, I’d still eat it."

They shared a quiet moment before she spoke again. "Just give me five more minutes, and I’ll be back, okay?"

"Okay, but if you need any help, I can try," he offered, his voice tinged with nervousness.

"No, not this time," she said playfully. "You’re at my house for the first time; maybe next time."

"Alright, as you say," he replied, a sense of anticipation fluttering in his chest as he retreated to the couch, eager for what was to come.
