YOU LAY your head on ben's shoulder, for whatever reasons you had been feeling weak. The pain was worsening every time you walked, too. Deciding to secretly lift up your pant leg, you see that there laid a fresh scar on your leg which was beginning to look black. Your eyes widened when you saw this, how'd that get there?

"[Y/n]." (F/n) spoke, his brown eyes landing on your injured leg. "When did that happen?" he asks with confusion, his mid length hair falling over his shoulder freely. Standing up you gestured over to a corner to talk privately, (m/n) also stood up to follow.

Once you guided the two of them away from the others their faces were immediately overcome with worry. "Are you feeling okay? Are you sick?" (M/n) asks as she places a hand over her chest.

"I'm fine." You replied, "it's..this whole thing-- I wish I had told you guys sooner."

(F/n) and (M/n) glance at one another, they wondered if the reason why you didn't tell them is because you were overwhelmed and exhausted. That had to have been the reason, or maybe you didn't really trust them.

They were both equanimous about it, they didn't seem hurt or betrayed. They truly cared. "It's okay. I mean if you would've at first told me I wouldn't have believed it, neither (f/n). if you would've told us the second time? yeah. off the bat we would've knew something was wrong."

(F/n) leans against the wall as he crossed his arms, sighing as he rubbed a tired hand over his face. "This isn't you or anyone else's fault. But--" he gestures to the growing black spot on your leg, it's substance reaching into your skin and entering your veins.

You hissed in pain as you collapsed to your knees almost but your father caught you by the arm, halting the fall.

(M/n) eyes widened when she saw it spreading at a rapid pace, her frown deepening as she guides you to sit down onto a nearby chair.

"What's wrong?" Malik asks with concern, ben looking over his shoulder towards you. The both of them seemed worried, (f/n) and (m/n) shield them from looking— both of them having nervous smiles on their faces.

"Everything's cool, kiddos." (M/n) replied, "she's just not feeling too good."

Malik and ben turn to (f/n) for confirmation, (f/n) noticed and quickly nodded in agreement to his wife's words— it was true, you weren't feeling well.

"For right now she just needs some time alone." (F/n) replied while checking on you, seeing that you were sweating pretty badly, your hair sticky from the sweat.

They were right about one thing, you did need time alone.
