“𝐓he ring should contain pure red ruby

“𝐓he ring should contain pure red ruby. My beloved loves red colour.” The goldsmith nodded at my instructions and I smiled to myself.

The engagement will take place on the rooftop of André-yes icecream stall's owner, Nino's banquet hall. He specifically agreed to put strawberry icecreams in the menu, as my beloved loves strawberry flavour. I'll keep that in mind various other reasons as well.

Once we get engaged, I'm gonna lay my hands all over her and never let her go. God, I love her. I love her from the bottom of my heart. I am ready to spend my lifetime with her.

I smiled looking at her picture.

She is holding a pink cotton candy in one hand, and in her other hand, she is holding her graduation certificate. Her father gave me the photo, because I liked it the most. She seems so geniune and happy.

I turned it around, and it has written, ‘My first victory which my mother is proud of.’ with a sad face emoji. Below it, it was written, ‘I don't mind because she bought me hundred dresses which I liked.’

Some customers immediately darted their eyes towards me as I laughed at her statement.

   God, she's so precious.

“Sir, shall we leave? We've placed the order,” Neil leaned to my ear and whispered, looking at the other customers.

Since Dhruv is on a medical leave, and, well, Shu is on a personal leave, Neil has been assisting me. Honestly I miss Shu because she always tolerated my shenanigans. (Not exactly, she'd scold me for them).

I stood up and nodded, “well, then Neil. Let us leave. It's your leaving hour already.”

We left, only to make sure to come back after five days to take the ring back. In a week, we'll be engaged.

And in a week, she'll be my official finacee. We planned our marriage the next year, or probably, if I get impatient again, we can marry in a few months.

After a fifteen minute ride, we reached home at about seven-fifty pm. Neil dropped me and left with my car.

“You are an ass—oh hey Utkarsh.”
   “See? Exactly.”
“It's because you are an asshole. I hate the very sight of you.”
   “Don't—”
“I will say it again. I hate you, Avinash!”

As usual, I saw Avinash and Ayana arguing. But this time, Avinash seemed more worked up. More acerated.

   And more agitated.

I've only seen him furious one time, and that was when someone cussed at her mother.

And for that, he burned the person's company as repentance.

I wonder if Ayana is in danger.

Avinash dragged her to their bedroom, closing the door shut. I should interrupt, but knowing him, he'd not harm her. Avinash never touched women or children.
