Chapter 2: Don't be a Stiff

So almost every chapter I'll put a YouTube video above, whether or not I make it or not. I will mostly be putting Ellie Goulding songs because everything about her songs explain divergent! They give me the feels. You guys don't have to watch the music videos, I mainly just put them there for you to listen while reading. Edit up there is by me, posted on my ig @divergent7680

I collapse on Tobias' bed.

I think I've had enough 'Candor or Dauntless' for the night.

We went around the whole Dauntless compound daring each other to do stupid stuff.

"Have fun?" Tobias asks me.

"Yeah" I reply yawning "I just think i'm tired."

I get up and start to change into shorts and a T-shirt and wipe off all my make up.

He's already in bed as I slip under the covers and into his arms.

I wake up to the morning sunlight slipping through the shades.

It takes me a few seconds to realize we've slept in.

"Tobias!" I yelp "It's 8:30!"

He peeks an eye open.

"By the way," I giggle "I call dibs on the shower."

He jolts awake, springing out of bed and into the bathroom.

"Hey!" I object "I thought I called dibs first!"

"Love you!" He laughs.

"Nice try," I scowl letting a smile emerge on my lips.

Yesterday I chose the job of working as a tattoo artist with Tori, and an Initiate trainer.

Christina chose a nurse in the Dauntless hospital and so did Marlene.

Lynn is a tattoo artist too and Uriah is going to be an Initiate trainer and a zip lining guide.

Zeke is working in the control room with Tobias still.

I shower straight after Tobias.

I make my way to my night bag searching for a decent outfit.

I peel my towel off, slipping into a black tank top on and jeans.

I decide leave my hair down and wear my black sneakers.

"Gotta go," I tell Tobias.

He's in the kitchen drinking a glass of water.

"Bye," he smiles "Have a good first day."

"You too." I press my lips against his.

I run out the door not wanting to waste anytime. Tobias' touch still lingers on my lips.

"Hey," huff running into the tattoo parlor. My legs burnt from running all the way there.

"Hey Tris," Lynn greets me back "Tori is in the back room, and she told me to wait for instructions."

I nod.

"I have an extra muffin if your hungry" Lynn offers.

I realize I forgot to eat breakfast, so I take a muffin.

Tori appears next out of the back room.

"Okay" she clasps her hands together "Let's start out simple."

She points to the ink cartridges.
"These are for tattoing."

"Wow, what a surprise!" Lynn snorts.
