***
I was surprised to find 2 months after our anniversary I was pregnant once again.

I was so excited. Our fourth child!
***

Tears slowly filled my eyes.

The nurse's words repeat over and over in my mind.

'The baby didn't make it. You had a miscarriage.'

I sob. Crying is sometimes something needed. Sometimes you need to let the tears out and worries.

Tobias comforts me at my side with a sad look on his face.
***
It took me a while to get over the miscarriage. We are doing better now with our three little kids.

"Wanna head to the training room kiddo?" Tobias asks Mikey ruffling his hair.

Mikey was 7, Adelyn was 6, and Alex was 2.

Addy and Alex were both sick with the flu. Tobias and Mikey head out while I stay home to take care of Addy and Alex.

I slip the thermometer into Alex's mouth.

"Your way too warm bud," I sigh laying a cold towel on his forehead.

"My tummy hurts," he wines.

I hand him the bowl just incase.

I head to Adelyn's room to check her temperate too.

Addy's temperate was still slightly high but not as much as Alex's.

"How are you feeling?" I ask her.

"Better, but it still hurts," she answers coughing.

I kiss her forehead. "If you need anything, just call my name."
***
Adelyn has recovered from her flu but Alex is still sick in his bedroom.

My stomach has been hurting today but I'm trying to ignore it.

"Tris, are you okay," Tobias asks me.

"Yeah.. I'm fine. Why do you ask?"

"You look hunched over."

"Oh it's nothing," I insist.

"I think you may have caught Alex's flu," he answers.

"Maybe." I switch my attention back to the film we were watching.
***
After brushing my teeth, I wipe my mouth with a towel.

Tobias was correct. I had caught Alex's flu. I just puked for the second time today.

I climb under the clean sheets and sleep takes over me.
***
It's Alex's third birthday today. He's so excited. He recovered from the flu a week ago while I just recovered only a day ago.

"Momma when is my friends gon be here?" Alex asks.

"Soon," I smile.

We are going to have a load of children over here in a few hours.

After Tanner, Zeke and Shauna had a girl. Her name is Ivy. She's adorable and she takes after Zeke a lot. She has dark hair and tanned skin.

Uriah and Marlene recently had a girl. Her name is Jennifer. She takes after Marlene a lot. Her hair is chocolate brown like Marlene's.

What's surprised us is that Lynn and Zack ended up getting married. We were all so happy for them.

My old initiates I trained got married recently too. It was Josh and Julia.

Tobias and I have interfered with training initiates a lot lately.
***
I finally counted all the kids at the party.

Twelve.

I am not kidding.

They all pile on our apartment. I give them hugs because I am Auntie Tris.
***
Maybe telling the kids to dig right in was a mistake.

Green frosting is spread out all on their cheeks, lips, and teeth.

Alex insisted on having green frosting. It's his favorite color.

It's still quite adorable though. Everyone is laughing and having a great time.
***
I'm taking Adelyn to get a check up at the doctors today.

I help her get dressed into a pink cardigan and black jeans. I slip her little pink socks on and her pink flats.

"Sit down Hun," I tell her patting the spot on the carpet next to me.

"What are you going to do mommy?" She asks.

"I'm going to braid your hair. What kind do you want?"

"I want a French," she responds.

I weave her blonde strands of hair into a nice French side braid.

"You look beautiful," I tell her kissing her on both of her cheeks.

"Thank you momma," she giggles.
___
"Alright Adelyn. What's this check up for?" The doctor asks.

"I wanna play soccer and momma says I gotta get a check up to play," Adelyn explains.

"Oh okay," The doctor laughs.

When the doctor is about done with Addy's check up, I feel another stomach ache.

It must've been what I ate earlier. I hope I'm not getting the flu again.

I hold my hands up to my stomach groaning.

"Um, Dr. Jones, do you happen to have any medicine for stomach aches?" I ask.

"I don't, but I can check it out if you like," he answers.

"Uh sure why not."

He holds up a screen to my belly and a few other things.

"Oh... Ah.... I see," Dr. Jones points at the screen.

"What is it? Am I sick?" I trail off.

"No Tris, your pregnant," he responds.
