POV: Tris

I'm five months into my pregnancy already and Tobias and I are thrilled.

We get to find out the gender today, and I can barely sit down.

"The baby is kicking!" I shriek in laughter.

Tobias runs over.

He chuckles "If it's a boy he's going to be strong."

The nurse hands me some sort of gel in a clear plastic container.

"Rub this on your stomach Hun," She sweetly smiles.

It's very cold, and it makes me shiver.

Dr. Klee pulls out some machinery and takes 'pictures' of what's inside of my stomach.

"I'm excited to inform you that you are having a boy!" She cheers.

"Oh my gosh, Tobias this is amazing!" I exclaim.

He smiles and pats my stomach, gleaming with pleasure.

We are having a baby.

***
I find a Dauntless book store, striding in.

My eyes lay on a baby name book. I slip it out from its spot on the shelf.

"How much?" I ask.

"That'll be 10.00 credits," she replies.

***

I take a seat on the couch in our living room. I scroll through the names.

I find two names I really like. Michael, and Jackson. I also like James, but I think I'm going to make it the middle name.

Tobias walks in the apartment from his shift.

"Tobias," I yell "Come here!"

"What did I do it this time," he teases.

"What do you think of the names Michael, and Jackson?" I ask.

"Whatever you want," he says.

"Do you like them or not? Come on Tobias, I need clarification," I laugh.

"They're spectacular," he smiles.

"And what do you think of James as a middle name?" I ask again.

"It sounds great," he declares kissing my hair. I smile and wrap an arm around him.

It sort of hard now because my stomach is getting pretty big.

"Let's go on a date," he suggests "My treat."

"If you haven't noticed, I look like Godzilla."

"No you don't, you look like a pregnant woman," he insists.

"Gee, thanks."

"I'm kidding, you look breathtaking," he claps his hand to mine.

"Fine, I can wear the dress you got me for my birthday, it stretches," I conclude in agreement.

"Perfect."

***

I tug at the dress, which is surprisingly hard to get on with the fact that it stretches.

I wear a pair of silver earrings and curl my hair.

Tobias takes me down to a Dauntless restaurant. It's very fancy, and everyone seems to be so polite and elegant.

"I have a surprise," he blurts.

"Tobias, you seem to always have a surprise," I smile.

He laughs and takes my hand. After walking a bit, we find a nice spot where we have a flawless view of the night sky.

I sit down, laying on my stomach to face the evening's glow.

It almost seemed as if we could have stayed there for years.

Tobias, The baby, and I.
