"So..." Tiana was leaning against the kitchen counter as she was looking at the small group of adults that were all watching one another, waiting for one of them to speak up first. "Because of you insisting on showing up for Jonathan even though Cameron and I had it handled... Lex Luthor and the entire world now know that Superman is still alive." She sighed. "Well, so much for laying low."

"I didn't know that you guys really had it handled--" Clark began.

"Cameron has control over his abilities, he has put out dozens of fires in this week alone." Tiana gestured over at him as Cameron was drumming his fingers on the counter. "And you know that I have control of my abilities. Hell, you were the main person who taught me how to do it. What was your logic in running after us, when you absolutely knew that we had it handled?"

"Lois?" Clark asked, trying to find somebody in the kitchen meeting that was on his side as Lois sighed, before she lifted her shoulders in a shrug.

"I'm sorry Clark, but I agree with Tiana on this." Clark's eyes nearly popped out of his head at the words from his wife. "I told you to lay low and I've seen what Cameron can do, he easily put out the fire in the barn. I understand being worried about Jon and even about Tiana, but Tiana is careful and Cameron knows what he has to do. There was no reason for you to be worried about them at all."

"I wasn't even worried about them! I didn't go to protect Tiana or Cameron." Clark protested and awkwardly, Tiana winced at the words. "I was really just worried about Jonathan." He said and Tiana glanced at Cameron, who was silently shaking his head.

"Don't get involved."

"Yeah, I got that."

"He's just worried that he isn't as strong as he normally is."

"I know that. Even I can see it and I can't hear heartbeats, C."

"He didn't mean what you're feeling that he did."

"I know."

"But the sentiment still hurts."

"Yup."

While their silent conversation was continuing, Cameron was very quietly turning his head around and listening to something. Tiana narrowed her eyes at him, wondering what he was hearing and when she saw him rolling his eyes, she started getting a little more concerned than she probably should have.

"You should go and find Jonathan and Jordan."

"What did they get themselves into now?"

"Not them."

"Wellnitz?"

"Yeah, him. He bought a whole bunch of fireworks for that one Fourth of July thing that naturally no adults know about."

"Don't kid yourself. All of the authority figures in Smallville know about the damn thing."

"True. Are you going?"

"Not unless I can get somebody to watch Liliana."

"Mateo?"
