Tiana was staring down at her watch that tended to go off, whenever somebody hit the button on their own. "I can't... I can't do this. All this waiting, it's driving me insane." She whispered quietly and Jon was grabbing her hand in his.
"Have you started to heal yet?" Jon asked and although Tiana sincerely appreciated the attempt at a distraction, her mind was far, far away up with Cameron and Clark.
"Uh, sort of." Tiana mumbled quietly and she was looking down at her feet, which were slowly beginning to vibrate. A signal that whatever had broken, it was healing itself up. "But not fast enough to help them if it comes down to it. So... Mateo, how am I looking?" She asked as Jon and Jordan eased her down onto three chairs, lying across them.
"Hold up now. We actually have somebody else here with X-Ray vision." Mateo noted as he looked at Jordan, who stared at him with annoyance in his eyes. "I can't use my abilities in front of everybody here, my mom doesn't even know that I have them. Come on Jordan, please?" Mateo asked quietly.
"Mom?" Jordan asked softly and Lois glanced over at them all, before she was nodding and Jordan focused on Tiana with his X-Ray vision, scanning her quickly to see how her healing was picking up. "I don't know how fast your healing normally is, but you aren't going to be able to fight in the next ten minutes." Jordan said as Tiana groaned quietly.
"Mateo, how are they doing?"
"Hold that thought, I'm trying to connect with Cameron now. Just basically, so that we can actually see what he is seeing."
"Mateo... Is he still alive?"
"Thank you for your concern."
Tiana felt relief surging through her at the sound of Cameron's voice suddenly ringing through her mind.
"We are here to help you Cam, in any way, that we can."
"You already have. If it wasn't for you two then, I would still be lying in a... Whoa!"
"Mateo, what just happened?" Tiana asked out loud as she was looking at Mateo, whose eyes flashed with concern. "Teo." She said as she stared at him. "What just happened there?"
"We lost the connection." Mateo said and he was rubbing his temples, closing his eyes as he tried to clear his head. "Doomsday must have hit him, hard. That's the only reason I can think of, for his connection suddenly dropping." Mateo admitted.
"Is he alive?" Tiana asked very quietly, she almost didn't want to know the answer to it and Mateo sighed.
"As near as I can tell, yes. But that's a situation that can change at the drop of a hat." Mateo muttered.
"Was it a general order to kill Superman? Or was it any and all Kryptonians left on Earth, whichever ones who tried to intervene?"
"It was Superman, specifically. But... I don't know if Cameron is exempt, he is wearing a Kryptonian family symbol after all. At this point, hopefully between the two of them, they can defeat him."
Tiana was back to staring at her feet after Jordan and Jon had helped her sit up again, while she was frustrated with how slowly she was healing. "Damn it." She mumbled.
