"Are you sure about this?" Cameron asked and they were standing outside of the clinic again, after Cameron had driven them in Tiana's truck and she was staring at the doors. "You know... You don't have to go through with this, if you don't want to."
"Damn it." Tiana mumbled quietly and Cameron glanced at her, wondering what she was thinking.
If there was ever a time that he wished he had proper telepathic abilities and not just an internal bond between their minds that she could lock him out of at will, it was for situations like this one. If he knew what Tiana was thinking, maybe he could understand and empathize more. Maybe, he could give her better advice.
"I'm here... Which means, I have to do it." It was decided, Cameron could recognize it in her heartbeat. He could hear the beat of her heart steadying, before he was recognizing that she was absolutely determined to see it through.
"All right. Let's go." Cameron said as he reached out a hand to her, before she was shaking her head and she walked into the clinic. Cameron nodded, before he tucked his hands into his pockets and quickly following her, he was walking into the clinic.
Tiana had filled out all of the forms again and then, she was leaving them with their front desk and she sat back down next to Cameron, who was sitting almost too still to be human.
"Hey, relax. You are sitting, far too much like an alien." Tiana muttered quietly and she jabbed him in the side with her elbow, before Cameron was slouching a bit in an effort to provide the proper illusion. "That's a little better." Tiana mumbled quietly and she was resting her head on his shoulder, as she tried to relax.
"What's wrong?" Cameron asked quietly as Tiana sighed.
"Can you use your hearing to check on Liliana? I haven't seen her, because Jon doesn't want me around and..." Tiana's words trailed off, when she saw the familiar expression on his face.
Cameron's head was bowed slightly, it was as if he had caught sight of something of an interest to him on the floor, with his head turned slightly to the right and Tiana smiled slightly at the familiar look.
"Jon is with her now. He is going to be headed over to the DOD to train with Sam soon, he wanted to tell her that he should be home in time for dinner." Cameron murmured as he sighed. "He also says that he wishes, that you decided to have her baby brother instead of... Well, not." He admitted and Tiana looked at him. "Jon said that to Liliana." Cameron admitted as Tiana was looking down at her fists, which were starting to spark with electricity.
Cameron reached over and grasped her hand in his, feeling the sparks hitting him rather than exploding and potentially knocking out the power... Again.
"Thanks."
"No problem."
Cameron was relieved when she reached out, which meant that she wasn't too scared to speak and eventually, he couldn't smell electricity anymore and he glanced up as the nurse called her name.
Tiana walked up to the front desk and Cameron followed her, before they were being led into another room where they were waiting for the doctor.
After the appointment and the procedure was over, Tiana was silently sitting in the passenger seat of the truck and Cameron was looking at her.
"Did you want to drive?" He asked as he held up the truck keys and Tiana looked at them, before they softly jingled and Tiana sighed.
