Tiana glanced up at someone knocking on the door to the apartment and then she was getting up, before she walked over and she opened the door. "Clark?" She asked in astonishment and he smiled, before she laughed and she gave him a hug.
"Ow. Ow, take it easy there now, T." Clark said and Tiana laughed, before she let him go and she stopped at the words.
"Did you just say "ow?" Tiana asked in visible confusion and in quiet admittance, Clark was nodding his head slightly at her words. "You're not back to a hundred percent yet, huh?" He shook his head in response and she sighed. "Well, it is lucky then... That you have two half-Kryptonian sons with powers now, your Kryptonian nephew, plus his tag-along Mateo Cortez to keep us all together, John Henry and Natalie Irons, plus me to keep the entire world from falling apart in your absence."
"You're really not mincing words anymore, are you?" Clark asked and Tiana shook her head.
"Anymore?" Tiana asked. "What do you mean, not anymore? I never mince words, Clark and today is no exception to that rule." Clark laughed at the words. "Come on, I need a run." Tiana said with a grin and Clark disappeared, before Tiana raced after him in a flash.
They heard another sonic boom as they ran and it turned out to be Cameron, who Mateo was catching a ride with. Literally, because he was holding onto the guy's ankles and screaming at the top of his lungs.
"Whose idea was that shit?" Tiana asked after Cameron had dropped Mateo off at his trade school for the day upon which Mateo was immediately throwing up and internally cursing Cameron, judging by the wonderful language that was cursing through both of their brains at the moment.
"He originally wanted to hold onto my arms." Cameron explained very bluntly and Tiana scoffed at the words, before they were racing off again, racing around the world to get some energy and calories burning.
After a while, Tiana was skidding to a stop next to Liliana, who was sitting up on the couch and she was immediately jumping at Tiana.
"Mommy!" The girl shouted as Tiana laughed, catching her daughter as she was spinning her around. Liliana was growing much too quickly for her age and if Tiana was being honest, it was scaring her badly.
She didn't know why Liliana was so different from a normal kid in regards to growth, she was starting to wonder if it was going to be permanent or not and more importantly, how long she would have with her.
"She's getting big."
"Yeah, I know. She's not even a year old yet and she's the size of a three year old, I don't know what is causing this. I never grew this fast, I don't think. Could it be the Kryptonian DNA in her?"
"Ask Clark."
"I didn't grow that fast and I actually have the pictures to prove it. I'm sorry Tiana, but I don't know what's happening to her. If Clark doesn't know, maybe you should take her to the Fortress so that Lara can take a look at her vitals and things. She would know more than Clark and I combined, I'm sure that between Lara, Clark, you and I, we could figure out what's up with her rapid growth and aging."
"Good idea. I'll talk to Clark later."
"Uncle Cameron!" Liliana yelled in excitement as she was hugging him, when Cameron was walking into the living room from the kitchen and he caught her easily with one arm. Tiana was nodding silently, before he saw the concern in her eyes as she was going to get some food from the kitchen for herself as they watched Liliana, who was racing around the room at lightning speed.
