Tiana had been suddenly surrounded by darkness and stone, for what felt like the longest time, before she gasped and her eyes snapped open.

Tiana sat up with a shocked gasp, holding her throat as she was looking around at her surroundings that seemed to glow a blinding white. Tiana was slowly standing up with fear in her eyes and still unsure about where she actually was, Tiana was suddenly jumping at every single noise.

"Wh... Where am I?" She asked quietly and she was shaking her head.

"You are in a place that everybody eventually gets into." Tiana's eyes widened when she was turning around to look at the familiar voice.

Clark was standing there with his hands in his pockets and then, he had a very familiar and warm smile on his face as he looked at her. "But, Clark... You're--" Tiana's words trailed off, when she realized the truth of what she was saying and he watched her, waiting for the shoe to drop. "Oh my god, you're dead. Does that mean..." Tiana was pointing at herself and Clark nodded.

"You died a hero, Tiana. Your parents have been watching you with pride, this whole time." Clark reassured her and Tiana nodded. "Are you okay?"

"I left Jonathan alone to fend for himself with six kids." She whispered and Clark was shaking his head.

"No, you didn't. He has Matteo and Natalie, Jordan and his family, he has Sarah and so many other people. The whole world would help him, I would be willing to bet... If it really came down to it." Clark said and without ceremony, he was holding out a hand to her. "Are you ready?"

"For what?" Tiana asked warily and Clark chuckled patiently, before he looked over at the door in her direct line of sight from where she stood, that had quite literally appeared out of nowhere.

"To see the people that have been waiting, for you." Clark explained and Tiana's eyes widened, before she declined his hand and she was walking with him over to the door. Tiana stared at the door briefly, before she was turning the door knob and she was pushing it open.

Tiana saw that it was a baseball field, it looked almost just like the one that stood behind Smallville High. "Wow. So, this is what the afterlife looks like?" She asked as she turned around to look at Clark, only to see that he was in a baseball uniform and she groaned. "Really?"

"Come on. It's Crows vs The Eagles." At the words, Tiana narrowed and when she was looking down at herself again, she found herself in her old uniform again.

The same number and everything, she was moving over to the team quickly. "Coach?" It was more of a question than usual, when she saw the familiar bald head. Coach Bridge turned around to look at her with a grin on his face.

"There she is! Our star player." He said and Tiana laughed, before she was hugging him quickly. "All right. Get out there and show the eagles what we've got."

Tiana nodded, before she caught a bat that Clark had thrown to her and Tiana walked out onto the diamond and she was spinning the bat quickly. "Yo! Knock her flat on her ass, Diggle!" Tiana raised her eyebrows at the mention of Diggle behind the pitcher's mount. But when he pulled his hat off to wipe his forehead, Tiana recognized him as John Diggle Junior, who was pitching.

"Try it, I dare you!" Tiana called out and he was throwing the fastball quickly, but Tiana saw it in slow motion.

Tiana's hands briefly loosened on the bat before she knocked the ball out of the park and the rest of the team was shouting in excitement, after she was getting a home run as she was laughing at the excitement and she was shaking her head, before she was giving a hug to Clark.

"Did you miss it?" Clark asked and the glow in her eyes and Tiana's bright smile, it gave him the answer and he chuckled at the explanation that required no words. "Come on. Let's finish the game and then we can go and see Lois." He said and Tiana's smile got even wider, if that was possible and then she was currently rushing to the dugout.

"Okay, how the hell did Kyle get a grill in the afterlife?" Tiana asked and Clark laughed at the words as they were walking towards a party that looked like the Kent property. "And actually, who isn't here?"

"Well, I mean... The ones who are still alive." Clark said rather morbidly and Tiana gave him the side-eye at the words. "I mean, you asked!" He pointed out and Tiana mumbled something quietly under her breath about how she didn't actually mean the question. "Oh look, there's Lois and John Henry. Hey guys!" Clark was waving and the two of them were waving back and the two of them were walking over.

"Aw, hey sweetheart." Lois said as she offered Tiana a hug with open arms and Tiana practically tackled her for the hug. "It's good to see you, although I wish that it was under better circumstances." Lois admitted and Tiana was closing her eyes.

"I missed you guys, all of you." She whispered quietly.

"So... Do I get that enthusiastic of a greeting?" Tiana turned around to see that it was Trevor standing there with a smirk on his face and before she was thinking about it properly, she was tackling her older brother and they went down laughing. Before they got up and they were racing around the property, lightning trails following them as they did.

After Tiana had lapped her older brother about nine times, he was going to get some ribs and Tiana was sitting on the porch. "But, I'm dead. So, why do I still have powers?" She wondered quietly, looking down at her hands which were crackling with electricity and lightning.

"Because you died with them." Clark held out the rack of ribs to her on a plate and then, she was quickly digging into them and Clark smiled. "I don't have my powers here, because I died as a human. But Trevor still has his abilities and so does your father." Tiana nodded slightly at the words, before she was waving at Kyle to acknowledge how good the ribs were and he glanced at her with a swift and wide grin on his face.

"So... If you die with powers, you keep them?" Tiana clarified and Clark nodded.

"Basically, yes." Clark agreed with her very limited and very basic understanding of his words while Tiana was finishing the barbecue ribs and she let out a hearty burp. "Oh, yuck!" He said as she was laughing at him, before she was getting up and heading over to a group of five that were starting a flag-football game.

To try and keep it fair, Tiana was not using her super speed and but she was still using her catching abilities and she got tackled more times than she could count, even though it was only supposed to be flag football. But it was still fun and at the end of it, she found herself laughing her head off.

"Come on, everybody! It's time for the funeral!" Sam Lane was sticking his head out of the upper window with a loud shout and everybody was going back towards the house.

"Funeral?" Tiana asked with uncertainty in her voice.

"Yeah, yours." Trevor said and Tiana looked alarmed at the words, before he was tugging her along as if it was a normal, everyday thing that they always chose to do.
