"Hey, Dad?" Jon was shaking and Clark looked over at him.
"You are going to be fine, Jonathan. Just focus on Tiana, you don't have to worry about anything. Except for tripping over your own feet, or forgetting your..."
"Dad!" Jon hissed and then Clark was chuckling at the words, before he was lifting up his hands in surrender. "But, wait. Hang on, aren't you walking her?" Jon asked in confusion and Clark was shaking his head as Jordan was landing next to them.
"Jon, dude. Your heart is probably going close to a hundred miles an hour." Jordan remarked.
"Screw you." Jon muttered and Jordan sighed.
"If it makes you feel any better, Tiana sent me over here to tell you that she's just about as much of a mess as you are." Jordan remarked and Jon stared at him.
"But Liliana, she is really excited about being the flower girl, look at how cute she is." He was showing Jon and Clark a photo of the toddler in her little white dress with a red ribbon, holding a basket full of flower petals and she was waiting in the entrance to the house for her cue.
"What happens if she gets cold feet?" Jon asked and Jordan groaned. "I mean, if she takes off like Chrissy did... We have no way to track her, she can move faster than we can. Even flying, we can barely keep up with her..."
"Jonathan, go and talk to her." Clark interrupted and Jon stared at him. "She will have the door closed, go and talk to her. You two can talk things out and she will be ready to go, afterwards. Tal is walking her down the aisle, because Cameron promised her that he was going to. Tal is taking his son's place, that is why I'm not walking her down the aisle. Go and see... Well not see, but just go and talk to Tiana." Clark said and Jon sighed, before he nodded and he sped to the house.
After giving Liliana a quick hug, Jon was walking up the steps and he was looking at the door to his room that had sticky notes saying "STAY OUT UNLESS W/BRIDE" posted all over it and Jon sighed.
"Tiana?" He asked, knocking on the door and he could hear Tiana's heartbeat and it was hammering. "I could use my x-ray vision to get through this door, but I won't do it." He heard her faint laughter on the other side and he sighed.
"If you really aren't ready for this, then we can call it off. If I pushed you into this, then we don't have to..."
"It's nothing to do with you, Jon." Tiana's voice was quiet, but steady and she sighed at the words. "My maternal grandparents are... Well, traditional would be an understatement." She said and Jon narrowed his eyes, but he stayed silent and she chuckled quietly. "They called me today and they found out about me having Liliana out of wedlock and I have officially been disowned by the Lynnwood family. Because I chose to have my daughter." Tiana sighed.
"Jesus Christ, Tiana." Jon murmured and Tiana laughed.
"You should have seen their faces over the zoom call earlier. You would have probably been as stunned as they were, when I told them about the abortion." Tiana said as she sighed. "Jon, I know you. You're here because you are worried about me and I'm going to tell you now, that you don't have to be."
"Okay." Jon agreed and Tiana got up from her seat at his desk, before she was resting her hand against the door and she waited.
Tiana heard the door creaking, when Jon did the same thing and she rested her head against the door. "I can't wait to hear what stories your parents are going to tell about us at the reception."
