"Well, you still look like complete shit." Tiana noted as she kicked open the door to the roof since she was holding coffee and food in her hands, seeing that Cameron was resting his back against the Air Conditioning Unit and absorbing the sun rays. "Why don't you just fly up directly into the sun?" Tiana wondered as she walked over to him and Cameron opened his eyes, when she sat down next to him.
"Because I kind of don't want to leave you guys alone with only a pair of really half-trained teenagers as protectors, while Clark is still recovering." Cameron said as he was chugging the coffee and he glanced at the sandwiches. "Is that your lunch?" He asked and Tiana sighed, splitting one of the sandwiches in half and giving it to him. "Thanks."
"You haven't eaten or drunk anything today. I might not have super smell, but I can still very clearly smell it on your breath." Tiana noted as Cameron ate the entire sandwich and she sighed before she handed over the other half of it and Cameron ate that one too, before Tiana was eating her own. "Are you healing?"
"Slowly. Very slowly." Cameron muttered and Tiana narrowed her eyes. "I'm still hurt, but it definitely isn't as bad as it was. I just didn't see the red lamps in time, so my entire body and every system in it, they was effectively thrown into a sort of Kryptonian shock. Which really doesn't help when you are facing off with a well-known villain like Lex Luthor." He grunted as he shifted around on the concrete. "Ow..." He mumbled.
"Take it easy, Cameron." Tiana advised and he gave her the side-eye. "I'll be right back, I remembered something that might help you. So, just... try not to die in the meantime. Please and thank you." Tiana stated, just before she disappeared in a flash of lightning.
Tiana had banged on the door of General Hardcastle's office until the general finally opened the door and Tiana looked at her, before the General was opening the second safe underneath her desk and she was giving the case that was in it, over to Tiana and Tiana disappeared in a flash of lightning and she was racing up the stairs of the building quickly.
Tiana kicked the door open and she came skidding to a stop next to Cameron, whose head turned to look at her. "I thought that Anders... I mean, the guy who must not be named, I thought that he took them all from the DOD when he went to the Bizzaro World with the pendant?" Cameron cut himself off just before he said the name that had set Tiana off and Tiana sighed.
"This is the rest of it, that they confiscated after he went AWOL. I convinced Hardcastle to give it to me." Tiana pushed it towards him. "So, go ahead already. Because if you refuse to fly up and into the sun to heal faster, then... Well, then this is your next best option." She stated and Cameron was grumbling, before he was taking the X-Kryptonite and he swiftly began to inhale the stuff.
Tiana was skidding to a stop in front of the Kent House where Clark and Lois were urgently talking, while Cameron had been floating around in the sun for hours and she was walking into the kitchen with the door banging shut behind her. "All right, what's going on? What's with the SOS?"
"I have to figure out how to convince the whole town that I'm not Superman." Clark explained bluntly and Tiana's eyes shot wide open at the words. "The secret leaked out after I died, so I'm going to have a hell of a time putting it back in the box."
"My identity is public for the entire town. Why are you so worried about it?" Tiana asked and Clark scoffed at the words.
"It is one thing for you to be as fast as lightning and to not be out of post-secondary yet, just for your identity to be revealed." Clark said as he stared at her. "But I am Superman and I have a family."
