Jhoana's POV
I remember when Bea and I got back together before, it happened so suddenly, without any surprises like last night. Honestly, I've been wondering why she hasn't officially asked me yet since it's been six months. Turns out, she's been courting me for six months. Sometimes, I'd even rant to Jia about it.
Flashback...
"Himala, sa condo mo uuwi ka? Magkaaway kayo noh? Magpakasal na kasi kayo," Jia asked.
"Ay, bakit bawal na ba ako sa condo ko? Magpakasal ka diyan. E hindi pa nga kami officially nagkabalikan," I said irritably while fixing the patient files Jema would pick up later.
"ANO?! Hindi pa kayo official, e halos mag-live-in na kayo ah," she exclaimed, and I nodded.
"Ay, nako, Jho, ah, hindi maganda yan. Alam kong matagal naging kayo, pero mag-6 months na nung mawala si Tito, at pagkakaalala ko, noon kayo nag-usap."
"Paano gagawin, e hindi pa ako tinatanong. Alangan ako ang magtanong sa kanya."
"E bakit naman kayo nag-away ngayon?"
"Paano, hindi nagre-reply tapos may picture nanaman kasama yung flight attendant na may gusto sa kanya."
"Ayon, nagseselos naman pala ang doktora namin, hahaha," she teased, and I glared at her.
"Sinuyo ka na ba?"
"Hindi, kaya nga sa condo ko ako uuwi, di ba?" I said, just as I finished the patient papers, and Ate Ella walked in.
"Oh, bakit ganyan mukha mo, Jho?" Ate Ella asked, but I ignored her.
"Nako, Ate Ella, nagseselos, tapos hindi naman pala sila official couple," Jia added.
"HA? ANO?! SERYOSO BA?"
"Kailangan isigaw, Ate Ella?"
"Sorry, nabigla lang na hindi pa pala kayo official sa lagay na 'yon. Gumaan lang ang schedule mo sa company niyo dahil nakagraduate na si Jaja. Kapag day off mo at walang flight si Bea, doon ka lagi sa condo niya. Ay, sa bagay, kahit di pa graduate si Jaja, halos mag-live-in na kayo," Ate Ella rambled.
"Hindi kayo nakakatulong. Bahala nga kayo, uuwi na lang ako. Kapag tumawag sa inyo, wag niyo sagutin, hayaan niyo siya."
That whole week, I ignored her. Sunod-sunod ang flights niya, at hindi siya makapag-leave kasi may paparating na leave. She kept calling, even Jia and Ate Ella.
Then I got a call from the company saying Bea filed a resignation letter. Since they knew we were connected, they asked me why she was resigning-that's when we finally talked.
End of Flashback...
"Are you done staring at me, baby?" she asked, already awake. I glared at her.
"Hahaha, good morning. I love you," she said as she hugged me tight and kissed my temple. I buried my face into her neck and hugged her back just as tightly.
If you're wondering what happened last night-nothing. We just talked. Ate Ella and Jia went home, but before they left, they made Bea promise to treat them. That fool agreed to pay for everything.
"Uwi tayong Batangas next week? Let's visit Papa na din," I said.
"Kinakabahan ako, baby," she said nervously.
"Siraulo ka. Ano akala mo, first meet?"
"Ay, sorry, sorry, hahaha. I'm just kidding. But yeah, sure, let's visit him. Para din makausap ko siya pero this time wala ako makukuha sagot haha. Anyway you hungry? Let's order from Pancake House so you can really rest. It's Sunday, after all. Then later, mom called. She wants us to visit because they miss us," she rambled.
"Ang daldal. Mag-order ka na, nagugutom na ako," I said.
"Lagi ka namang gutom, eh," she teased, and I pinched her before lightly hitting her.
"Ouch, hahaha. Stop, baby. I'm just kidding!"
"Ewan ko sa'yo," I muttered, trying to get up, but she hugged me tighter.
"I'll order everything on the menu since I'm the one who's always hungry. Just kidding. I was talking about you," she joked, but I still ignored her.
"Sana hindi magmana sa'yo mga magiging anak natin," she suddenly said, making me look at her.
"Mahihirapan ako manuyo kapag nagsabay-sabay kayong nagtampoa at toyoin," she said, trying to suppress her laughter.
"Bwisit ka talaga. Alis nga, nakakainis ka. Sana nga hindi magmana sa'yo dahil lagi kang nambubwisit," I said, glaring at her, but she was grinning.
"So payag ka na mag-baby tayo? Wala nang bawian yan ah," she teased.
"Ugh, Beatriz. Kapag hindi ka tumigil, sinasabi ko sa'yo, mag-isa ka uuwi sa inyo mamaya," I warned.
"Heyyy, I'm just joking. I'll order food now," she said, finally giving in. I got up and headed to the bathroom.
Bea's POV
Jhoana is so cute when she's mad at me. I love teasing her, but when I know she's really upset, I stop.
I don't want another week of silent treatment-it's tough, especially when she's jealous. Since then, I stopped letting people take pictures with me.
I kept my promise and ordered the entire menu. Food is her weakness, after all.
"Baby, pasok ako," I called as I followed her into the bathroom.
"Shit, my girlfriend is so damn hot and sexy," I said, watching her as she showered.
"Tigilan mo ko, Beatriz. Lumabas ka. Mag-order ka na. Ikaw may idea ng Pancake House, tapos nandito ka," she snapped.
"Na-order na po, boss. Baka, boss, pwedeng..." I trailed off with a grin as she raised an eyebrow at me.
"Hehe, alam mo na."
"Tigilan mo ko. Badtrip pa ako sa'yo."
"E, baby, sorry na. Wag ka na mabadtrip," I said as I undressed, knowing she couldn't see me in the shower.
"Beaaaatriz," she said as she felt me kiss her neck.
I turned her around to kiss her properly. At first, she didn't kiss me back, but I deepened the kiss and let my hands roam her body. Eventually, she kissed me back, wrapping her arms around my neck.
My kisses trailed down her body until the doorbell rang. I ignored it at first, finally getting the reaction I'd been waiting for. No way was I stopping now.
But she pulled away and looked at me.
"What?" I asked, annoyed.
"Baka yung breakfast na yon. Open the door, Beatriz. Bawi ka na lang next time," she said with a wink, turning back to her shower.
"Fuck."
