Bea's POV

I'm driving back to Jho's condo. I got some clothes since she said I should stay at her place because it's closer to her office compared to mine.

I initially said it wasn't necessary, but she insisted. She said if I didn't agree, I shouldn't come to Batangas with her. There's no way I'm missing the chance to meet her family, so I agreed.

Before heading back to her condo, I sent a sunflower bouquet to her office via Jema. I also stopped by the bank to fix something since I couldn't withdraw using my ATM card earlier when I was buying a gift for Jho's dad. Luckily, my card worked at the bank. Then I received a chat from Jho.

Thank you, Bei. Take care, see you later. :)

You're welcome, baby. Yeah, I will. I'm near your condo now. Okay, chat me if I can go there na 💛

For sure, she'll say, "Baby ka jan hahaha," since she doesn't want me calling her baby. She thinks I'm moving too fast.

I bought three bouquets actually—one for her mom, one for her little sister, and  for her.

Jaja's POV

"MAAAAAA," I shouted as I walked in the house, just for fun since I just got home from school.

"Jaja, ano nanaman problema mo? Magbihis ka at tulungan mo kami dito," Mama said. Huh? What's going on?

"Teka, Ma, ano meron? Wala naman event ngayon, pero ang dami foods ha," I said, noticing the amount of food on the dining table.

"Uuwi ate mo," Mama said while putting the lasagna on the table.

"Oh, himala yan. Ma, di naman niya day-off ah. Pinauwi niyo nanaman si ate noh? Namiss mo nanaman," I said, since my sister only comes home when Mama calls her because she misses her.

"Hindi ko pinauwi. Diba sabi ng papa mo full sched ate mo, ayaw na ayaw niya ginugulo siya," she said. True, but I wonder what made my sister come home.

"Anyway, wait, palit lang ako Ma. Nasan na ba si ate?"

"Osige, bilisan mo at malapit na yon. Tawagin mo na din papa mo," she said.

"Oh, nandito din si Papa?" Mama nodded.

"Pinagleave ng ate mo," she added, which is weird. So I didn't answer back and went up to change clothes. After changing, I went to my parents' room.

I knocked first. Then I saw Papa watching golf.

"Pa, pinapatawag ka ni Mama," I said, hugging him.

"Andyan na ba ate mo?" he asked.

"Wala pa Pa, pero sabi ni Mama baka malapit na daw. Pa, anong nakain ni ate bakit umuwi?" I asked, curious.

"Ewan ko din jan sa ate mo. Pati ako pinagleave. Minsan lang naman magrequest ng ate mo, pinagbigyan ko na. May ipapakilala daw siya," Papa said.

"Weh? Totoo ba yan Pa? Bago yan," I said, surprised. My sister coming home just to introduce someone? Just wow. Papa was nodding.

"Oo, kaya nga pinagbigyan ko para malaman ko din kung totoo sinasabi ng kumpare ko na may nakita siyang kasama ng ate mo magkaakbay sa mall," Papa said. My sister has many admirers but never had a boyfriend. She had a childhood friend, Kuya Baham, and when she studied in Manila, there were others, but she never introduced anyone.
