The morning sun streamed softly through the curtains of Alexis and Lando's bedroom, casting a gentle glow over the room. They both lay in bed, each on opposite sides, facing away from one another.

Alexis stirred awake first, her eyes fluttering open as she took in the sight of Lando's peaceful form. He lay sprawled on his side, his curls tousled and his expression serene. She watched him for a moment, the sight of him both comforting and bittersweet. She carefully slipped out of bed, taking care not to disturb him, and made her way to the ensuite for a shower.

The sound of running water filled the bathroom, offering Alexis a moment of solitude to gather her thoughts. As she stepped out of the shower and into the bedroom, she found Lando sitting up in bed, his phone in hand. He quickly put it down as she entered, his face lighting up with a sleepy smile.

"Morning." Lando greeted her warmly.

"Hi." Alexis replied, managing a small smile as she busied herself picking out an outfit for the day.

"How are you feeling after last night?" Lando asked, his gaze thoughtful as he referenced Daniel's cheeky comment during truth or dare.

"I'm okay," Alexis said, giving him a grateful nod. "Thanks again for stepping in."

Lando's expression softened, and he replied, "I'd do it again in a heartbeat."

The sincerity in his voice made Alexis' heart flutter, but she chose not to delve into her feelings. Instead, she shifted the conversation. "How's your recovery from the concussion going?"

A proud smile spread across Lando's face. "I've been taking good care of myself. I'm feeling fully recovered now."

"That's good, Lando. I'm really glad." Alexis smiled at him.

"Honestly... it was you breaking up with me that really kicked me into gear."

Alexis turned to him, puzzled. "What do you mean?"

Lando continued, "When I realised I'd lost you, I knew I had to make some serious changes if I... if I ever wanted to get you back. It was bloody tough, but I had to look at myself and realise that I'd been taking everything for granted."

Alexis' emotions churned as she listened. "Really?"

"Yeah," Lando said, his tone earnest. "It was one of the hardest fucking things I've ever gone through, but honestly, I'm grateful for it. I realised I'd become too complacent. But now, I'm determined to be a better person. I'm going to prove it to you... because I know we belong together."

A sigh escaped Alexis' lips, as she sat next to him on the bed. "Lando..."

Gently, she reached out, placing a hand on his cheek, while he looked at her, his eyes full of unwavering adoration. Lando leaned into her touch, as his lips brushed softly against the inside of her palm. The look in his eyes, filled with absolute devotion, made her stomach flutter.

"Do you really think we can work it out?" Alexis asked softly, her voice barely above a whisper.

Without hesitation, Lando answered with unwavering confidence, "Yes."

Alexis and Lando eventually made their way downstairs. Lando, always the picture of casual charm, greeted everyone with his usual enthusiasm. He had already managed to put on a pair of comfortable shorts and a light shirt, looking refreshed and ready for the day.

Carmen, Lily and Heidi were already seated at the large breakfast table, chatting animatedly. Carmen had arranged a spread of fruits, croissants, and a variety of breakfast meats. George, Alex, and Daniel were helping themselves to coffee and pastries, discussing the day ahead.
