When Onyx finally told us everything he has been hiding, there was nothing I wanted more than to run to Lilah and promise her everything was going to be alright.

There's that thing where you say 'you shouldn't make promises you can't keep.'

I don't give a fuck about that saying. I will make it all happen. I will destroy the entire world if it means I cna make it a reality. I want to protect Lilah, I want to protect my brothers. I want....

I want to protect my kid.

Jesus, we made a kid. Just thinking about it has my head spinning. I can tell from one look at each of my brothers that it's doing the same thing to them.

Onyx looks just as sick as the rest of us which is odd considering that son of a bitch knew before we did. I mean, it has only been what? Two days? So clearly I shouldn't be that upset, but I am.

I thought if Lilah would lean on any of us it would be me, so maybe I'm just a little butthurt that she asked Nyx and not me.

No–that's not what's really on my mind.

My entire head is filled with Lilah. Are we really going to have a kid?

Lilah doesn't want a kid, Onyx tried to make that clear, but deep down I don't know if I trust him. What if that kid isn't Marco's? What if it's one of ours. Would she want it then?

Fuck this is a lot more complicated than I thought it would be.

"This is a lot." Mav says as Kai and I rejoin the group.

"Oh fucking really? I didn't know!" Kai growls sarcastically.

Mav stands up to his full height, his chest heaving as he takes a step towards Kai.

"Don't fuck with me Kai." He grunts.

"Fuck you Mav! This is all your fault!" Kai yells shoving Mav back.

"Ok, ok, ok." Onyx says as he steps between the two. "Calm the fuck down. This isnt the time to be at the each other's throats."

Just as I'm about to jump in the middle with Nyx, a nurse comes out.

"You all brought the young girl in correct?" She asks, quickly glancing down at her clipboard, scanning it before looking back up at us, "Lily?"

That ceases the fighting instantly. We're like angry bulls, all sprinting towards the nurse as her eyes widen.

"Yes, that's us. How is she?" I ask.

"Is she out of surgery?"

"Is she awake?"

"How's the baby?"

The rapid fire questions seem to make the nurse's head spin. She opens her mouth to answer, but then closes it again.

"Uh." We've clearly flustered her, even more noticeable by the red staining her cheeks.

"Are you deaf?" Kai growls, taking a step towards her as she takes a step back.

I throw my hand out, halting Kai's movements before moving towards the nurse.

I need to see her. I need to be with her.

We all do.
