After a long night of tiktok watching, Harper had never been so thankful of a Saturday before, considering she'd be way too tired for school. Harper stayed up until around 2am just listening to music and scrolling on social media. This was probably a reason why her dads were hesitant on allowing her social media, but oh well. That night Harper discovered something, however. Sabrina Carpenter was very pretty.

Harper tried her best not to be fazed by it. Just because you thought a girl was pretty didn't mean you were bisexual or lesbian, right? Harper thought about this way too long. She decided to take many 'am I gay?' quizzes in the morning. Harper answered the questions, her throat feeling like it was closing up more and more each time she got the result back.

62% homosexual

Harper stared at those words on the screen. She blinked and suddenly felt tears rolling down her cheeks. It wasn't like she had anything to be scared of, not with her parents anyway. They were literally a gay couple. Yet, here she was, crying over the fact she might be a lesbian. Harper slammed the computer shut and got up to get dressed and ready for the day. Harper threw on a cropped, grey zipper hoodie and some black joggers. She had her blonde hair up in a bun with her curtain bangs in the front. She made her way downstairs and saw everyone else was already eating breakfast.

"Morning, sleepyhead." Nick smiled, knowing his daughter didn't particularly like being called that.

"Morning. Sorry if I slept in.."

"it's fine, don't worry. Hungry?" Nick asked.

"Nah, I'm not.." Harper smiled, sitting on the couch.

"Dais-" She started, patting the couch with her hand. She stopped as she felt heat rushing to her face again as she realized what she said. No Daisy. No, she was gone.

"Did you say something, Harps?" Charlie asked.

"No. I didn't." Harper lied, quickly turning on the television.

In the afternoon, Harper was forced into going to the supermarket with Nick. While gone, Oscar, being the annoying brother he was, snooped in his sister's room. He found her computer and opened it. Unfortunately, Harper forgot to close out the tabs, and Oscar saw at least 5 gay quiz tabs open.

"Dad look at this!!" Oscar screamed, running downstairs.

"What is it? Shhh!" Charlie groaned and held the computer as Oscar practically shoved it to him.

"Wha- oh.." Charlie said.

"Harper's gay?!" Oscar exclaimed.

Os, you shouldn't have been looking at this, it's not your business.." Charlie sighed, closing the computer.

"But- what if Harper's gay?"

"So? That doesn't affect you, does it?"

"Well- no..I just thought she was straight.." Ossy shrugged.

"Hah. Everyone thought that about your dad too. Look at him now, huh?" Charlie smiled softly at the memories.

Oscar nodded.

Harper can just do no wrong.. Oscar thought.

"Don't mention this to her, okay? I'll talk with her or she'll talk when she's ready." Charlie said.

"Yeah. Okay." Oscar said, going back upstairs.

Charlie gave a big sigh and opened the computer again. He truly hated invading Harper's privacy, but he just wanted to see the test results. All of them came back with over 50% queer. When Charlie finished looking at what he wanted, he put the computer back so Harper wouldn't suspect a thing when she got home.

When Harper did get back home, she pretty much immediately went to her room. Charlie was sure that she remembered she probably forgot to close the computer tabs.

"Hey, Nicky?" Charlie said.

"Yeah, Char?" His husband replied.

"Please don't say this out loud but.. I think Harper is into girls."

"Oh yeah..? What makes you say that?" Nick asked as he started to put away the groceries he bought.

Charlie exhaled before speaking.

"Apparently Ossy was in Harp's bedroom and looked at her computer. He brought it down to me and there were a bunch of open tabs of queer quizzes. I didn't mean to invade her privacy, but I checked the results and they were all over 50%." Charlie explained gently while Nick listened.

"Oh. Wow.." Nick said, taking a minute to process. "Should we talk to her about it? Or wait til she says something?"

"I.. I think it's best we wait. We don't wanna pressure her." Charlie said.

"Yeah, I agree. I want her to feel comfortable.." Nick said, and Charlie nodded.
