Ivy didn't have anyone she considered her friend. Except maybe Rosie, one of the most popular, pretty, and slutty boy obsessed girls in school. Ivy did think Rosie was annoying sometimes, but at least it was someone to talk to so people didn't think she was a lonely loser.
"Cmon, Ivy, you're so slow.." Rosie rolled he eyes as she quickly walked over to the table they always sat at.
"You're just quick.." Ivy responded as she sat at the table.
"Cause I want to get the most out of our lunch break." Rosie said.
"What- why have you been acting weird?" Ivy asked.
"Me? You've been weird! Getting off with that Nelson girl and all that.." Rosie scoffed as if it was obvious.
"I barely talk to her! I sit next to her and that's it, piss off." Ivy rolled her eyes.
"I saw you talking yesterday." Rosie insisted.
"Oh my God, she spoke to me first. I don't like her."
"Whatever. Just eat your food." Rosie said.
"Why are you being a bitch?" Ivy huffed.
"Excuse me, don't call me a bitch." Rosie snapped.
"I'm only saying the truth." Ivy snapped back.
Rosie got up and stormed away.
Ivy closed her eyes and took a breath. One of the bad things about two friends who got angry quickly was lots of arguments, which Ivy had enough of at home.
Ivy took some deep breaths, that came out more as ragged. Her eyes, now glossy, looked over to Harper and her friends. They were all laughing, having fun, and here Ivy was, sitting alone like she deserved.
"Does Ivy usually sit alone?" Rory asked, noticing Harper looked at her.
"No, she usually sits with Rosie." Jessie scoffed.
"Oh, so you stalk her now?" Harper said.
"I'm just observant." Jessie defended, shrugging.
"I'd go and sit with her if she didn't hate me." Harper said.
"She hates you? I thought you fancied her, anyways." Bea said.
"Oh my god, just because I look in someone's direction doesn't mean I'm falling for them." Harper scoffed.
"Aw it's like a grumpy x sunshine!" Jessie giggled.
"Ew no." Rory huffed. "Ivy will bring Harper's positive spirits down."
"I'm straight." Harper snapped, crossing her arms. "So stop shipping me with random goth girls.."
"Yeah that's rude." Jessie said as if she wasn't the one who said anything.
"What classes does everyone have after?" Bea said.
"Maths." Harper sighed.
Unfortunately, all the girls had different classes. They parted ways, and Harper stared at the ground as she walked to her classroom.
