Saturday could not have come quick enough for neither Harper nor Ivy, but when it finally did arrive, the girls were a mess (to put it lightly.) Harper didn't have a clue what to wear, though she narrowed down to 3 options the night before. Ivy didn't care as much about her outfit, she was just worried about her dignity, in a sense. She never went on a date, Ivy couldn't even recall a crush on someone, so what was she supposed to say? She didn't want to act like an emotionless robot and upset Harper, knowing how excited the girl was. But how could she act like some soft little bunny? That wasn't who she was. Ivy decided that it would work out; grumpy and sunshine always worked, at least they did in the movies and books. Ivy settled on dark, excessively ripped jeans and a graphic, gray T-shirt with a long sleeved white base underneath. Her hair was perfectly straight, unlike herself in this moment, which brought her back to some thoughts.

A girl. I'm going out with a girl. Yeah, fuck it, I'm going out with a girl. Ivy thought to herself as she added black earrings in the shape of a skull and black sunglasses as an accessory. Her makeup was plain and dark, though she added some eyeliner. Ivy thought she looked pretty damn decent, which was enough for her.

Harper was a whole different story. She took a very long shower, curled her hair, burning her hand slightly, and did her makeup. After some insight from Rory, Bea, and Jessie, Harper decided on a short, floral dress she was gifted for her birthday last year. The dress was one of Harper's favorites; causal, but not too casual, fancy but not too fancy. Harper paired her dress with a pair of converse, pink bow earrings, a necklace, and a dainty bracelet. Her outfit was complete, and she was quite thrilled with herself. Harper grabbed her phone and read the time.

Just three minutes until Ivy was supposed to be here, and Harper had a hunch that Ivy wouldn't even be a second late. And right on the dot (as Harper called it,) there was a soft knock. Harper would normally tell her dads she was leaving, but Charlie was somewhere Harper didn't know, as Charlie wouldn't tell her, and Nick went with Charlie, but they knew she was going out. Harper opened the door and her eyes met Ivy.

"You look gorgeous." Harper said out loud, barely realizing she had spoke until she noticed the look on Ivy's face. "Hah.. Sorry. But, erm.. It's true."

"So sappy.." Ivy mumbled, hiding her smile from Harper as she looked at the floor. "Cmon then, we don't have all day."

"Ossy, I'm leaving! Bye!" Harper shouted into the house as she walked out, shutting the door behind her. She wasn't even entirely sure her brother was home, as he was supposed to go out later, but maybe he had already left. Oscar usually was very quiet about where he was going as of late. "So.. What are we doing?"

"Nothing too special." Ivy shrugged. "But considering you're..You, I think you'll enjoy it."

"I'm sure I will." Harper nodded. "So.. Sorry in advance if I'm awkward.. Tell me more about yourself."

"I dislike a lot of things."

"Oh? So does my aunt, haha. You remind me of her. In a good way!" Harper chuckled.

Ivy smirked, nodding. "I dislike humidity, fuzzy socks, some shows where those stupid audience members laugh and it's not even funny, waterparks, the texture of shrimp, the Latin word 'Vomitorium', child abuse, bad grades, Halloween, blobfish-"

"Wow..okay." Harper forced a smile, as she cut her off, though she was sure the list could go on for ages. Harper was slightly surprised at the bizarre, yet specific answers. "So.. What do you like?"
