Done in Pierre's POV
------------------------------------------I lightly jogged down the sidewalk with Hugo, enjoying the quiet streets of Milan. It was peaceful, just the two of us. He always loved our walks, bouncing with energy at every step and wagging his tail, like a weapon. Suddenly, Hugo jerked on his leash, pulling my arm roughly.
"Arrêt! Arrêt!" I yelled, trying to get him to stop, but it was too late. He bolted forward, dragging me along with him like I weighed nothing. Before I knew it, Hugo had darted toward a young woman just outside the gym in town.
He jolted straight into her, knocking her backward onto her ass. My heart dropped as I rushed to apologize, but the woman burst into laughter, the sound making me calm down.
"Hugo, come on!" I half laughed, half yelled as my over-excited dog jumped up on the woman, his paws resting on her shoulders. Hugo wasted no time, licking her face like a maniac.
"It's okay!" the woman managed between giggles. "He's adorable."
I let out a deep breath, seeing how she didn't mind Hugo.
"I'm so sorry. He doesn't usually tackle people like this."
The woman waved a hand dismissively, still giggling as she scratched behind Hugo's ears. "No worries at all. I love dogs."
Hugo wagged his tail even harder, clearly winning this woman over. I shook my head, unable to hold in my laugh. "Well, he clearly loves you too."
As the woman stood up, brushing some dirt off her leggings, I couldn't help but notice how effortlessly beautiful she was. She was dressed in gym clothes, black leggings and a fitted tank top, her hair tied up in a messy ponytail, yet she looked stunning in a way that caught me off guard.
"Well, your dog certainly knows how to make an entrance," she said with a smile that was both warm and playful. I laughed, still a bit embarrassed but feeling more relaxed.
"He's never usually this forward, but I guess he has good taste."
She laughed again, and it was the kind of laugh that made you want to keep the conversation going just to hear it. "I'm Alara, by the way," she said, extending her hand toward me.
I took her hand, a little surprised by how natural this felt. "Pierre. Pierre Gasly."
Recognition flickered in her eyes, but she didn't say anything about it, which I appreciated. Instead, she looked down at Hugo, who was now sitting calmly, wagging his tail as if he hadn't just bulldozed into a stranger moments ago.
"And this little troublemaker is Hugo," I added, shaking my head at my overly excited dog. Alara bent down again, giving Hugo another scratch behind the ears.
"He's really sweet. No harm done." I smiled, watching how Hugo adored the attention.
"Thanks for being so cool about it. I thought I'd have to apologize for a while." Alara stood back up, shrugging as if it was no big deal.
"Well, it's not every day you get tackled by a dog that cute. Besides, I could use the distraction after a tough workout."
I nodded toward the gym. "You train here often?"
"Yeah," she said, glancing at the building. "Helps clear my mind. And you? Are you into working out, or just walking adorable dogs around town?"
I laughed, caught off guard by our easy banter. "A bit of both, I guess. I try to keep in shape, but Hugo makes sure I never skip a walk."
